KD lead the league in scoring multiple times while playing with a complete ballhog, but yeah he needs Curry's spacing to score

Regular season scoring...where was his scoring in 16' when his team was up 3-1 and needed him to close the Warriors out?
KD was dropping 30 on prime LBJ in 2012, doesn't need Steph to score at all. With Steph he can focus more on the defensive end making him more elite.
And you really want to bring up 3-1 when talking about KD vs Steph???

Must be nice to be able to spend most of the game in single coverage while your teammate is double-teamed (sometimes beginning at the half-court mark). As Iggy, Horry and Fisher also found, being the sidekick does allow one to be more efficient on offense, as well as to be rested and ready for that big shot.
1. Steph gets doubled teamed off of screens because he struggles scoring 1 on 1. KD doesn't have such a problem. It's not like Steph's Shaq demanding double teams as soon as he catches the ball.
2. KD needing Steph to be an elite scorer is an absolutely insane take.
3. People are overrating Steph's gravity over a couple of plays in the finals like the play where JR Smith runs away from KD not because he's afraid of Steph getting a shot off, but because he's afraid of KD.
