We've got our three big dogs going in this series, we have to win this series, and hopefully we sweep going into the two biggest series of the season next week.

Im interested in who is all going to play tonight in the first game. We could very well see a STRANGE lineup.

Im assuming Edgar is down for sure.
Mac caught the entire game, he might need a day off.
Chipper was over icing his hand in between innings does he sit bc of it.
Franceour got beaned in the hand he looked fine hopefully it didnt swell up.
Then our bullpen was used quite a bit whos available down there (Bobby said Cormier will be down there bc of last nights game.)

I guess will find out soon enough

It's going to be a very difficult game tonight against Francis and the Rockies offense.

I expect us to win the series!

I knew it would be a very difficult night but I didn't expect this.

When I heard Renteria was being put on the 15 day DL on the way to the game, I already have a bad feeling we were going to lose. He has been our MVP through the entire year and our most consistent player. Escobar is a great guy to have, but you can't replace what Renteria brings to the table.

That game could have been a lot different, though. Any other day Teixeira makes that play and if Bobby didn't pass Helton in the 7th. I think we would have gone about the end of the game differently and have a great chance at winning. I hate it when we not only lose, but lose in large part because of errors. By the players and Bobby.

Regardless, I'm really impressed with Teixeira's power. I was worried about how he'd hit at Turner compared to the Ranger's ballpark, but he has clearly shown he has no problems hitting the ball out here. I left in the 8th so I didn't see it, but I think he hit it to dead center? That would mean he has hit one to right, left and center. I'm not sure if anyone ever homered in each of their first three games with a team.

Not having Edgar will be a big blow, but Escobar can fill the void. The bigger pressure lands on Andruw Jones, who needs to up his production to compensate for Renteria. Defensively, there isn't that big of a drop-off from Renteria to Escobar.

We cannot get too far behind going into next week. This Colorado series will dictate if we are serious about winning the division. If we lose the next two games, and go into NY and Philly 5 1/2- 7 1/2 games out we are as good as done

I'd only be worried if we were 5 1/2 - 7 1/2 games out after those two series. And I seriously doubt we lose the next two games.

Yah honestly if we are going to lose any games in these upcoming weeks im glad its now. Even if we go into the mets series 5 1/2-7 1/2 games back we could sweep that series and be 2 1/2 -4 1/2 games back with 6 more games left against the mets. I said a long time ago as long as we as many games as we are behind left against the mets im not worried.

But like High 5 said I highly doubt we lose the next 2 games, yesterday everyone just looked dead from the 14 inning game the night be4 and I knida of expected it. I expect a much better game tonight and hopefully the mets lose and give us a game back.

I love Willie and Diaz starting. Nice win even though Dotel almost ruined it. Hudson has been flat out dominant in his last 5 or so starts. He has pitched well enough to have at least 14 or maybe even 15 wins.

We cant blame it all on Dotel or Soriano the other night for that matter. As much as I love Escobar his bad throw hurt us, we get that out Dotel prolly doesnt give up the homerun. Just like the other night with Soriano when Rent got hurt, that could of even been a double play prolly doesnt happen there. Im just sayin as our pitching has let us down we got to make sure we do everything in the field to back up.

Just thank god we got the win I could bare to go thru that again so soon.

By the way, the Cubs beat the Mets, and Milwaukee beat Philly. Finally we managed to win when both teams fall.

We gotta stop blowing leads in this game today, Sunday. Let's take the lead, and finish this home series with a solid 4-2 record. Come on Bravos
