Why did Doncic and Ayton switch places since April 3rd? Change of heart?

Yep, change of heart. I think its close enough that Ayton still goes first if a team like Phoenix have the top pick, but Doncic is the best talent in my eyes.

If we jump to 1st? I'm taking Doncic.

So what's up with your sig? I hope the Suns take Doncic if they are first. And I hope he's there if they draft 2nd.

Haha I made that sig a while ago, probably time to change it. I'd happily to take either, though.

Not that need should take precedent at #1, but how do you think you guys would balance having Doncic and Jackson, as well as obviously having Book, Warren, etc.

It works offensively because Doncic can run the offense, but I wonder who would guard opposition PG's.

I just run Doncic/Booker/Jackson and figure out the defensive matchups. Jackson could guard quicker 1s maybe. But I think Doncic is underrated defensively. He's better defensively and quicker than many seem to think and a very good team defender. You also have to think of it the other way. The Suns would have serious size 1-3 and how would a smaller PG defend Doncic? He is a guy that would take advantage of any sort of matchup.

But they desperately need playmaking and a PG. Now if they found another vet type PG they could go really small every onece in a while because I think Doncic can effectively play 1-4. I think you have lots of options.

TJ comes off the bench as spark plug scorer off the bench.

I see Doncic is a gun that runs the offense from the wing spot, as opposed to an actual PG, in the same way I would classify Simmons as a PF even though he is a point forward.

I think Doncic is a good defender on the wing, the only knock against him defensively is physically, he's very high effort and intelligent/savvy on defense, I just don't see him containing PG's at all. I'm not sure Jackson can guard quicker 1's either, for as good as he is on that end.

By all means do it, you'd have a tonne of talent, but I just do think that might be a potential issue.

Yeah, I've used the Simmons comparisons as well. I imagine some may have figured he wouldn't be able to guard 1s as well. I definitely don't think Jackson would have a problem with guarding 1s. He's extremely quick and athletic. As far as positions though, I don't think it matters too much. Doncic basically is the primary initiator and facilitator. We could call him a forward...small forward and call Booker and Jackson the guards.

Hasn't been long since the last mock but I've had the time on my hands and there's some pretty considerable changes I wanted to make, so here goes.

I dropped Porter a few spots, maybe that's just a reactionary thing for me, but I'm just not feeling him right now, and if I think about who I'd want as a Bulls fan, I'm taking Bamba and Mikal over him, maybe even Young, at least that's how I feel at this moment.

- Fernando should have good stock if he does stay, he's somewhere in that range.

- Sexton I'm having trouble pinning down, I love him in some ways and hate him in others.

- Walker I also struggle with, I like a lot of what he brings to the table but I appreciate the concerns.

- I put my initial love for Frazier behind me and assessed that Hutchison and Bates-Diop were more well rounded players at a similar age.

- Gave Trent Jr. some love and boosted him, I really soured on him mid-season and thought he was a solid niche shooter at best, but I think there's enough untapped potential there to warrant a rise.

- Gave J.Porter another rise. Another guy I'm not certain on. Love his potential but need to see some considerable physical development and progression to reach the potential of the sort of stock I've assigned him here.

- Put Wilkes in. Got a nice physical profile but didn't show enough skill-set stuff to warrant lottery consideration imo.

- Alkins a guy I like some days, others not. I don't completely see it.

- DiVencenzo is in. 41 I think is pretty fair. Not sold on him as a 1st rounder in the scheme of things but he's on that Holiday/Thomas/Trent Jr. tier imo

- Moved Kurucs up a bit. I thought he was solid last year, and by the 40's I think he deserves the benefit of the doubt of situation.

- Dropped Bonga a fair bit. Looked through the hype, and while the shooting progression makes me positive, still think he'll be one of those late project guys.

- Some guys like Vick, Maker, got dropped to undrafted. Should mention Spalding as well, he sounds worthy of selection but I just haven't seen enough to rate him.

Any chance you see Fernando dropping to the late 1st? Would love to see him as a Celtic. He's the perfect Brad Stevens prospect. Raw, but with an NBA ready body and mentality. Mature, high motor, leader; seems like a good kid. Plus, Boston really needs some bigs!

Otherwise, he'll fit great with a, team that knows how to get the most out of him.

If he's that low he probably goes back to school. I think he's pretty borderline returning even in the mid-1st I've got him mocked, tbh. So unfortunately I don't think you guys have a shot unless you trade up.

This is poor mans version, but if you trade down or simply buy a second, you might like Sagaba Konate. Has his limitations but is athletic and is an absolute stud rim protector.

Don't sleep on Jerome Robinson, if orgs think his defense can catch up with his offense he's a first round talent imo

I quite like what I've seen from him. I've omitted him at this stage, though. Might add him once I've looked in more depth.

Yeah I just figured you like many think he will wait until 2019, but if he declares this year I think he will remain a bit of a sleeper for awhile anyway.

It's dawned on me that I've been sleeping on Khyri Thomas this whole time. I'm probably going to move him up to 20-30 range next BB.

I REALLY like that you have Okogie at 32. I think IF he gets an invite to the combine, he'll enter the 1st round.

I could definitely see him going first round, just not sure who I'd put him above at this stage. But his combination of age and physical tools given his production is underrated. Could easily sneak in to the 20's.

Like him a lot, would've had him in the lottery. Think he might sneak in to top 10 next year.
