He'll be in a contract year next season. No way we re-sign him after that. More probable he gets traded by the deadline at very latest.

I think they let Ross play in these few game left so other GMs would see he is back and he is fine health wise
....feel free to send your offers draft day

anyway some of the guys will have to be traded
we got nice solid players on the bench but they would never see any pt (Mario Iwundu Artis Birch) if not for Injuries.

True, Ross and Vučević trades are coming. Personally, I would love to have Ross back if we could've agree on a contract not completely unlike to DJ's, but anything over 8M per would have to be short, let's say 30M in 2+1 (TO last year).

Well he can't even beat Ibaka off the dribble. That's a mismatch he has to win in all honesty. When he dribbles the ball he ends up 10 feet backwards from where he started.

Some of it in coaching too. We don't use the guy well at all right now.

Well, some mid-range moves will really help him. It doesn’t look like Gordon really has any of those moves. From what precious little I’ve been able to watch, Gordon either shoots, drives, or posts up.

Even elite mid range shooters like Derozan must cut down their attempts, Gordon practicing mid range shots when he has so much other more important stuff to do(passing, 3 pointers, ball handling, defensive positioning) is not a good idea

In whole league Aldrige is probably only guy who should shoot mid range jumpers

Hate to break it, but Gordon's 3pt improvement might've been just a mirage in November. He is shooting meager 26% from 3pt land in 2018.

Gordon is shooting 47/176 (26,5%) for 3 in 2018. That's lower than his career average.
He was 64/155 before January ( 41,3% ).
His true shooting is probably somwhere in between (30-32%)
December was last time he had efficient mounth in terms of shooting in general (58% TS), everything after that is way below average.

You might be right that Gordon should prioritize other stuff over shooting mid-range. Still, I’m talking about learning and incorporating specific moves to help score off one or two dribbles, not just jacking up shots, or just practicing one pull-up jumper. The mere threat of scoring off the dribble will make it easier for him to get to the basket, since Gordon will have more options. Having those moves will also make Gordon harder to stop in general.

The addition of one- and two-dribble scoring moves was part of Afflalo’s All-Star-worthy season. (His post game figured most prominently, while his finishing and three-point shooting were probably the easiest to overlook.)
Remember when Kobe elbowed Jameer in the chin so hard Jameer was knocked down and sent skidding across the floor?

Well you want him to become first option offensively i want him to become efficient role player :) He would need to really expand his game to make good use of midrange game. Now he cant hit 3 reliably, have problem to drive even against pf, and he is not consistent passer on the move so from where will his midrange shots come from ? We will not work for Gordons midrange shot, and he cant create it and it wont open any specific area he is efficient with.
