Morris doesn't want to face his twin brother Markieff in a playoff series. The Celtics forward was asked about the possibility by Boston reporters and spoke at length about how he doesn't want it to happen.
"Man, every day we talk about it. Honestly, I don't want to play them first. Can't lie," Marcus said according to ESPN. "I don't want to play them first because it's my brother and we're going to war... I'd hate to see my brother in the first round, to have to be that bully to my brother when I know it's gonna be like."
The funny thing is the way he words it here, he feels he can kick his brothers ass and doesn't want to have to to do it.
Marcus even said he's been paying attention to the odds in rooting against the matchup.
"I'm like, 'Keef, c'mon, man. Like s---. Get to the six or the eight [seed]. I ain't trying to play y'all in the first round,'" Marcus said. "It said they was like 40 percent to play in the seventh [seed], but then they lost, so I was like, should I be happy that they lost?"
Hopefully the twins can work this out so the seedings stay the way we want it to.
