He’s the new-age Shane Battier.

In all seriousness he has been solid, not top 30 per say, but impact on the team is great.

Way way better passer/creator, and shooter. Battier was a better defender though. I really think Portland Pippen is the best comparison.

Has anyone mentioned here yet that Doc Rivers cut the guy?

What a horrible decision on Doc’s part. Maybe his worst and he made a lot of bad decisions. They could have really used him in years past. He also completely outplayed Redick in last year’s playoffs. Very sad to see as a clipper fan

Yeah, but Slow-Mo is a horrific shooter.

He is TOP5 SF this season for me:

LJB, KD, Giannis, George and Ingles. Also LJB, Giannis and KD play at PF position most time. Its hard to say that he is TOP30, b/c there area lot of better players in other positions.

Just imagine a dream team with both top 30 player Joe Ingles and top 10 center Kelly Olynik. I think Adam Silver would have to intervene at some point.

Could legit make the All-Star team next year if he continues his 2018 form.

Got to love Joe.

He's also a Hawthorn Hawks supporter so he's just a complete all-round legend.

Would Utah be better if they still had Hayward on top of this team or had it worked out for the better?

No shot at Hayward but sometimes fit and chemist vary.

Please don’t say Ausso. It’s bad enough you call us “ us-ies “

I wonder what Utah will do with him. He doesn’t really fit their timeline of contending and would probably be a decent trade chip to get back some youth.

I had flirted with the possibilities of teams like Boston/Toronto trading guys like Delon Wright or Rozier (obviously add some more) to Utah as a big defending PG seems like a solid fit beside Donovan.

Maybe Utah is happy with him long term even though he’s already 30-31?

Utah just signed him to a 4 year deal, and he's a perfect fit right now. Not too worried about him losing a step before the end of this deal. His game isn't exactly dependant on quickness. He isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
New York said Mitchell wasn't the guy you trade the sink for, then they traded it for Mikal, lol.
