nice audition for the scrubs

NOLA is motivated and we have only 9 players dressed

[Me I see 3 NBAers, 3 G-leaguers, 2 other guys who maybe shouldn't even be in the league, and the ultimate WTF Bobi]

could be fun
teams playing with nothing to lose can be damned dangerous

No quit in this team at all. "The scrubs" who "shouldn't be in the league" are playing their hearts out against a playoff team.

It's sad that certain fans want to downplay and disparage these guys for the sake of an agenda. :noway:

of course they're playing their hearts out

duh, dude

that's the point

and nobody ever questioned their heart
Team Scrub [coached by Doc] gave it hell all year
helped get us to a winning season

I love them all
never dogged any of them

that's the difference, dude

_______________

AT THE HALF: After trailing by 14, the Clips came back but still trail by 10 at the half

If I'm not mistaken, the comeback win in Nawlins was the last game Blake played in a Clipper uniform. Someone correct me on that.

Are you really just going to ignore the long list of better players than Austin who were also out injured for us today? I'm starting to wonder if Tinman is right and you are on the Rivers payroll.

I keep telling you [and "Tinman" whoever that is, MIA all season] that you can't send out people who can't shoot and stretch the floor in the 21st century NBA.

Your dream team of scrubs who should get Austin's minutes were out there tonight
our starters' 3 pointers:

Tobias 0-5
CJ 0-5
Wes 0-3
Ty 0-2

Nice, MKWest, and I hope he can build on it.

but it was in garbage time

in prime time--as a starter--Sindarius scored 6.7 ppg in 26.9 mpg
1.3 TOs per game vs only 1.1 assists per game

http://www.espn.com/nba/player/splits/_/id/3064539/sindarius-thornwell

that is not an NBA guard
at least not yet

I'm not ready to bury him but not ready to count him in either

he lost a lot of his minutes to G-Leaguers

Again, rooting for your agenda over your team. If his name was Sindarius Rivers, you'd be calling him the next Kawhi.

Oh you guys are arguing about Austin Rivers again? In a game he didn't even play? No surprise there I guess.

It's not really about Austin per se. It's more about Esqtvd bashing all our young talent in a transparent attempt to make Austin look better by comparison. Meanwhile, when Austin stinks it up, he always gives him a free pass and finds another player to blame.

It's ridiculous that he's acting like Ty and Sin are scrubs who will never make it in the NBA based on their rookie seasons, which have actually been great relative to expectations. It's getting to the point where every time they miss a couple shots or make a mistake on defense, he's on here writing off their NBA careers.

Personally, I don't understand how anyone could watch Ty and Sin this year and not be excited about their potential, but I guess that's the power of an agenda.

True.

He also poo poos the draft every chance he gets to demonstrate that Doc ignoring the draft during the Lob City era was okay. The instant success of guys like Sindarius threatens that, which is why he cant just accept Sin having the highlight of the night. He has to say Sin isn’t an NBA guard when nobody asked that.

Not until he and Ty learn how to shoot. You're not listening. This game was an example of what it looks like with guys who can't stretch the floor. Especially guards.

As for the draft, I'm mildly excited at what we can get at #12 & 13 in what looks like a deep draft. I pooh-pooh the value of picks in the 20s as some sort of franchise-breaker. FTR, Doc protected the pick we wasted on Jeff Green 1-14 iirc.

Please state my views accurately.

LOL, one-note Johnnies. Austin had a very good year and nobody can take that away from him. That guys who can't shoot or handle the ball are somehow better than him was nakedly disproved vs the Pels. Guys who can drive and D up a little are pretty common. You can find guys like Ty on the street without NBA jobs.

I'm not writing him or Sindarius off but there's a reason they were available for next to nothing.
