dayum. I thought the whole "I paid off a porn star" reality tv subplot was just a hilarious distraction.

Much more than the Stormy Davis connection.
1) AMONG THE RECORDS THE FBI SEIZED ARE THOSE RELATED TO PAYMENTS TO STORMY DANIELS
2) FEDERAL PROSECUTORS OBTAINED THE SEARCH WARRANT AFTER RECEIVING A REFERRAL FROM ROBERT MUELLER

So Cohen’s a Target rather than a Subject now?
“The FBI stormed not only Michael Cohen's office, but also his New York residence, seizing documents and other material, as authorized in a search warrant.”

Inculpatory evidence is evidence that shows, or tends to show, a person's involvement in an act, or evidence that can establish guilt. In criminal law, the prosecution has a duty to provide all evidence to the defense, whether it favors the prosecution's case or the defendant's case. www.google.com/...

This week we learned from the Washington Post, in a story that ran in the Wednesday paper, that special counsel Robert Mueller plans to release a report about President Trump’s actions while in office discussing the issue of obstruction of justice. It will probably be finished by June or July.

[...]

SOME OF TRUMP’S DEFENDERS ARGUE THAT THE MEDIA, OR POLITICAL OPPONENTS OF TRUMP, SHOULD SIMPLY ACCEPT THAT MUELLER HAS NOT DESIGNATED TRUMP AS A TARGET OF THE INVESTIGATION, AS THOUGH THIS IS DEFINITIVE OR EXCULPATORY. NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH.

It’s more than depressing in this moment of unprecedented transparency to unearth a secret world of interconnected power lawyers who all row in the same direction for their interconnected power clients
With news about former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly’s settlement agreements emerging this week, we’ve also learned that a lawyer can represent one side in an agreement, then represent the opposing side.

More and more, it looks like there are only about eight guys negotiating, advising, and also mediating the shoddy NDAs that govern what women can and (mostly) can’t say about the men who rule Hollywood, the media, and the U.S. government. It’s all so cozy and beautiful, really. Unless you’re the alleged victim, and nobody lets you in on the joke.

[...]

Last month, Karen McDougal filed a lawsuit in the Los Angeles County Superior Court against American Media Inc. (the parent company of the National Enquirer) seeking to invalidate an NDA preventing her from discussing an alleged affair with Donald Trump. Stephanie Clifford, aka Stormy Daniels, is famously attempting to have her NDA tossed out as well.

Both women shared an attorney, Keith Davidson, who is also making news this week, because it’s no longer entirely clear whether he was working for his clients’ interests or those of the accused when he had them sign their NDAs.

As Scott Pilutik wrote in Slate, McDougal claimed that while he was representing her, Davidson was also communicating with Donald Trump’s attorney, Michael Cohen, despite the fact that Trump and Cohen were not parties to McDougal’s agreement with American Media.

In an interview with CNN on Wednesday, Davidson claimed that while Cohen has urged him to speak publicly about his representation of Daniels and McDougal, he has been advised by an ethics lawyer not to do so.

In that interview, Davidson “acknowledged reaching out to Cohen during the final stretch of the 2016 presidential campaign to let him know that he had just negotiated a deal with a powerful media company and McDougal that effectively kept her allegations of an affair with Trump out of public view.” He deemed the call “a professional courtesy.”

Older, white, educated voters helped Donald Trump win the White House in 2016. Now, they are trending toward Democrats in such numbers that their ballots could tip the scales in tight congressional races from New Jersey to California, a new Reuters/Ipsos poll and a data analysis of competitive districts shows.

Nationwide, whites over the age of 60 with college degrees now favor Democrats over Republicans for Congress by a 2-point margin, according to Reuters/Ipsos opinion polling during the first three months of the year. During the same period in 2016, that same group favored Republicans for Congress by 10 percentage points.

The 12-point swing is one of the largest shifts in support toward Democrats that the Reuters/Ipsos poll has measured over the past two years. If that trend continues, Republicans will struggle to keep control of the House of Representatives, and possibly the Senate, in the November elections, potentially dooming President Donald Trump’s legislative agenda.

The potential impact of any swing to Democrats is magnified given that older, educated adults are reliable voters. They also make up a sizeable portion of the voting population in many districts where elections are close.

How they vote could decide elections in as many as 26 competitive congressional districts where Democrats have a shot at winning a seat. A Reuters analysis of U.S. Census data shows highly educated older voters make up about 5-10 percent of the population in those areas. Democrats need to pick up 24 seats to win control of the House of Representatives.

“The real core for the Republicans is white, older white, and if they’re losing ground there, they’re going to have a tsunami,” said Larry Sabato, a University of Virginia political scientist who closely tracks political races. “If that continues to November, they’re toast.”

A interesting race will be the Special Election in Arizona 8th Congressional District. It pits Republican Debbie Lesko is a strong favorite over Democrat Hiral Tipirneni. This is Sheriff Joe territory and Trump won by over 20 points and Republicans have a 80,000 voter registration advantage in the district. While I think Tipirneni is by far the better of the two candidates if she can lose in a 10 to 12 point range it will be a major accomplishment.

Look what's happening in Tennesse. A state that went Trump by 21%. Republicans all over the place are getting their asses kicked. So much for the Trump effect. I'm sure they're sooooo tired of all this winning.

so...we got:

1. No collusion
2. no obstruction
3. No nothing.

Just a stromy daniels payment? Mueller has pinned his hopes on Cohen sweating this one out and flipping on trump? Cohen would never be hired ever again. No book deal could make up for his lost wages. If Cohen gives Mueller (and NYDA by proxy) 2 fingers up and holds strong, then he will have no shortage of high profile clients worth tens of millions. No way he can give that up. Trump definately has grounds to pardon his own attorney. So cohen has no reason to even sweat a single drop. Its in trump's best interest to pardon him so that goes without saying. But given attorney client privilege, trump can call him up tomorrow and say 2 words: Full Pardon. The fact that Mueller thinks he can pearce attorney client privilege on a NDA payout by cohen who says he paid it out on his own record and did not inform trump is laughable. There was no crime here. it was a lawful NDA. from an affair in 2006. Stormy was under NDA from back then and then demanded more money shortly before the election. She began to essentially "blackmail" trump in 2015 and 2016. The final payout was arranged just before the election. Its completely lawful. But somehow, someway, the liberal left has twisted this into a crime. She settled for $130,000. Which was stupid. But she accepted it. trump can simply claim that he did not want to harm his family. it is impossible to prove that trump benefitted in his campaign for president. there is no way to know if he won or lost. or if this affected the election. He already "grabbed em by the pzzy" and still won!! So it would matter what this women said. But in terms of saving his wife the pain, Cohen paid Stormy. thats the essence of the legal argument and it will stand up in a reasonable court of law. I dont know why trump himself did not pay this himself. If trump has a tragic flaw, he's too gotdamned concerned with "looking good" for his own damn good. He's penny wise and pound foolish in this regard. But that's another argument.

So really? at this point...Mueller just pulled out his coq and set it on the table. And he didn't have to. Cohen and trump had fully cooperated. Problem was Mueller didn't have anything....so they are going after the stormy payment?? Early morning raid on an attorney who cooperated and submitted 1.2 million documents?? lol

Read on Twitter

Mueller's peepee is either really big or its a shriveled up teeny tiny wrinkly nothing exposed by a desperate old man who had nothing else. Either way, he is all in. All His chips are on the table. there is not other way for trump to look at this. Its overly aggressive. And it does NOT look fair to conservatives and trumpers who are half the electorate (or more) and hold both houses in congress. So at this point there is nothing to stop trump from firing rod rosenstein if republicans dont impeach rosenstein first. And once Rosenstein is gone. Sessions would be next. Simultaneously replace is Rosenstein with Devin Nunes. Once Nunes takes over for Rosenestein, trump can fire Sessions and name Nunes USAG. In this order, Mueller will be defanged immediately by Nunes...no matter how slowly congress takes to confirm the new AG.

Then allow congress, both the house and senate to fully review the entire matter. Senate committee is ongoing. Bring it all to Nunes. Shine a light on all of it. and let the chips fall where they may. which would be likely a nothingburger.

And if congress wants to impeach trump on this? better to do it now with the majority in both houses than after the midterms where Dems are likely to pick up seats.

And all of this I lay out is not to obstruct justice. If there is actually any evidence that trump colluded or that trump evaded campaign finance laws let it come out. Shine the light on all of it.

But That is clearly not what happened or else Mueller would already have it. These investigations have been going on for nearly 2 years. Mueller has been at it for 12 months. Trump has cooperated and submitted 1.2 million documents (as opposed to hillary deleting 33,000 emails and busting up her blackberries).

This is all political theatre and looking for needles in hay stacks. If I followed any of you around 24/7 i guarantee each of you is committing crimes. Speeding. DUI. smoking weed. Purchasing drugs. gambling. tax evasion. perhaps even cheating on your wives or girlfriends. etc etc. And if any of you were high profile individuals you might be inclined to lie about it. If you gave me carte blanche, I could find crimes that each of you commit almost weekly, if not daily.

And thats what we have here. Mueller on a witch hunt. and that witch just pulled down his pants and put it all on the table. Which now Gives trump the high ground on firing all 3 of them. Rosenstein first (Hire Nunes). Who defangs and eventually fires mueller). Then fire sessions. Nunes will be the acting AG while trumps new appointee gets confirmed. Democrats and Mueller/Rosenstein apparently wanted a showdown? they just got it.

I'll add that multiple Congressional deadlines have passed where both the judicial and oversight committees have announced holding rosenstein and session in contempt for not providing all 1.2 million fully unredacted (yes million) documents in regards to this investigation. they have oversight and have been stone walled for months. Only 6,000(thousand) documents have been released to congress. Pressure was mounting this week and just last night Mark meadows threatened to impeach rosenstein. So this is clearly rosenstein's answer to Congress. 2 fingers up. Ballsy. i guess. we'll see how this plays out. Right now republicans need to grow and pair and answer in kind. Hold rosenstein, wray, and sessions in contempt.

What's Noteworthy here is that rosenstein signed those carter page fisa warrants. Congress has already connected the dots on this but they dont have the actual document. Rosenstein is slow walking it to congress and only released with his name redacted. SURPRISE!! I know. Alarming. Hopefully none of you dropped your laptops nor suffered a cardiac arrest. So trump and republicans have a strong case that rosenstein in conflicted and can not be the acting AG(mueller's boss).

Effectively, rosenstein has been slow walking the evidence that impeaches himself to congress (again, who has full oversight authority and is acting within its full congressional jurisdiction).

Why Jeff Sessions has not (UN)-recused himself only tells me that the good ol' boy republicans (in name only) are still slithering in the halls of the kingdom. Clearly Republicans see this entire investigation as the only means as to reign in trump who clearly wants to take a flame thrower to the entire (swampy) process. This whole thing reeks swamp. It stinks to high heaven. the fact that R's and obviously D's dont want an outside to win elections is an assault on our democracy itself. but none of you care about any of that. None of you care about our constitution. Where are our resident card carrying ACLU members? Where are our civil libertarians?

Read on Twitter

Read on Twitter

So at this point, the current R's either have trump's back or they dont. Its time for trump to call on them. Fire rosenstein. replace him with Nunes. Nunes defangs/fires Mueller. let the dems draw up the articles of impeachment. and the R's have his back or they dont. If they dont. good luck in November. they will lose both houses and pence will be your president. then in 2020 i can guarantee you a massive red wave. R's will end up with a super majority. if we dont have outright civil war before then. i personally will be more than happy to die on that hill. We have a constitution or we dont. we have rights or we dont. Congress has oversight or it doesn't. The president is in charge of the executive branch or he is NOT. and elections mean something or they mean nothing.

But but.....Russia!!!! Stormy!!!!!! Stormy wants to tell her story!!!!!! And she's got dik pics!!!!!! :o :o :o :o This whole thing must be a bad joke. the worst part of this joke is that trump is actually fighting for better trade deals. freer markets. A competitive edge for american corporations so that the american worker can once again have a livable wage. he is trying to keep jobs and bring back jobs. he is stopping illegal immigration so the current crop of (legal) immigrants and other lower end american workers can have job security and better wages. Yeah!!! Let's get rid of THAT guy!!!! I hate poor americans!!! What a great idea. waging civil war on poor americans!!!! Wow. :o Sad.
