I don’t want the jazz. We won’t get the pelicans. I guess that leaves the spurs. Everyone else I feel decent about the matchup.

I feel kinda OKish against NOLA or Utah (Utah's just a weird bad matchup). Maybe the Spurs. And I don't feel good about any of those 3, but GSW and Portland I feel even worse. I guess NOLA?

i think anyone but the blazers are fine.
Yea Utah are playing well but we match up well.
I would prefer in this order:
Pels
Spurs
Wolves
Utah
Nugs
Blazers

Maybe I'm wrong but we are almost a lock to end up 6th (which would be terrible given how bad we match up against Portland)

Tiebreaker will screw us whatever happens.

I guess we have to root against Utah.

Actually you guys are a lock to end up 4rth or 5th. If the jazz, OKC, and spurs all end up tying, OKC would end up getting the 4rth seed because theyre 5-3 against the other 2 teams. If OKC, Pels, and jazz all tie, OKC would get the 5th seed while the jazz get the 4rth ( I could be wrong who gets 4rth or 5th here but okc or the jazz will get one or the other here) and pels get the sixth. Keep in mind this is all baring if the jazz lose and has to be one of their last 2 games.

From the Jazz board, assuming they beat Memphis I think I'd rather play Utah than Portland. Ideally as the 4 seed (Utah beats GSW and loses to PDX). That's among the at least somewhat likely scenarios. I think 4 seed would help some to have home court. Really though just want them to play well and not worry about it. They're capable of losing to anyone (heck Memphis isn't a gimme).

Ideally, it would be Utah. In a playoff series, scouting does the 50% of the thing done, we would just out talent them eitherway.
Would prolly be a 4-0, 4-1 series in favour of us. We would lock the defense on every cilinder, and we have shown what we are capable of when that happens.

We are prolly playing Blazers.
Still think we are a slight favourite.
Stop their 1-2 punch and series is over.
Mix it up, put RW on McCollum, and put a playoff PG on Dame, let him deal with the size.
Would say we win that one 4-2 or 4-3, dropping games just due to their HC advantage ...

Im just scared Spurs somehow decoyed this whole **** and Kawhi comes back 100% ready for a first game ...

Because we can't play the Warriors in the first round I would really like us being 4th or 5th seed.

I might be in the minority, but I would really like playing Portland. They are no favorable matchup for us, but I like the oppurtunity to show them that we are the better team. It would also be super competitive.

I do not want to play San Antonio, Pops coaching and the slight chance of Kawhi returning is nothing I'm looking forward to.

I think some are selling Utah short. Our first matchup with them, they destroyed us. The game wasn’t as close as the final score. The second game, Gobert was in his second game back after missing eleven games. We played them two weeks later and Gobert didn’t play because of his knee injury. Mitchell had 29 & 31 the last two games. Also, we had Andre when we beat them. I’m not saying we can’t win a series against them, but I don’t like the matchup as well as others do.

Utah is on fire and they are a very smart/well coached team but if we can have HCA against them it would be great. I think it's better to play utah than Portland (we never beat them :(). Still prefer to play NOLA but odds are not great :)

Utah will be tough, and the main reason I prefer Portland (would be the same for Houston or Golden State) is that our team sometimes lack the right mindset. That won't happen against Portland. We would be in the series from game 1 on, there won't be an initial game or two were we would underrate them. Against Portland they will be ready from the first game on.

I also think that out of Utah, San Antonio and Portland, Portland has the worst coaching (on a very high level).

But overall no matter if it is going to be Portland, San Antonio or Utah, they all are tough matchups.

Wish we could have gotten GS. Sucks that we can't get them. They just lucked out. I really dont care who we play. I just hope we take care of them quickly so we can get ready for one of of the teams that you cant play Kanter aganist.

I guess we would like to get the 4th seed (home Court). By having the Jazz lose tonight to GSW, then the Jazz beat the Trail Blazers tomorrow and a big win at home against the Grizz. The 3rd seed will be the winner of the SAS and Pels. But, I really would not mind getting to the Warriors earlier rather than later. Because if we have to play 12-14 games before we play the Warriors and they have only played 10, that only gives them more rest.

If Russ pulls down 16 rebounds tomorrow night he will have averages a triple-double. If he does that it will be the first time EVER that a player has averaged a triple-double in two seasons. Big O was close in 5 different seasons. With three of those seasons averaging a double-double and over 9.5 in the 3rd category.

Doesn't matter. It will be a short series, 4-5 games, then we get to focus on the off-season and PG rumors.
