Yes, let's just "create a different system" that can win 60 games. Sounds good.

What other system do you think would maximize Green/Thompson the way this current system does? Do explain.

Kerr did it in one season with curry. He could implement something that is working a lot better than what they got going now. I don't think they'd win 60 but they still have plenty of talent.

Like? Please elaborate. What other system would maximize Thompson/Green the way this system does, and are they still 'all-stars' in this hypothetical?

Final regular-season record for the Warriors this year without Curry is 17-14.

With Cury -----------> 41-10 (.803) ----------------> 65 wins over 82 games
Without Curry ------> 17-14 (.548) ----------------> 44 wins over 82 games
Thank you Nico!

The system basically hides green and plays to Thompson strengths. They are just not has good without curry.

I'm not saying the system would be as effective for those guys. I'm saying they wouldn't be bottom feeders if they knew curry was missing a whole year. They'd figure it out for a decent enough season, not winning a ring though obviously.

No one is disputing that we'd still be a good team, but if you think we can just plug in another system without Steph and drop 60 wins next season you're going to be in for a rude awakening. Heck, we didn't even win 60 this season. :lol:

I'd be interested in how many of those 31 games had Klay and Draymond playing also.

GSW is done for, they should plan their fishing trips. Said it all year long, injuries and emotional issues, this team was never in it this year

Like I said.. tower of babel. They got too cocky.

I missed the Bogut-Barnes Warriors. They may not be as good but the competitiveness and the joy in those games were just way more sustainable.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

Soooo what's the timeline on his return/have there been updates? Still unlikely for the first round?

Yep, GSW totally done for. They really went out there tonight and gave it their best shot. Utah is just too damn good. :crazy:

Original statement was that he'll be reevaluated this weekend. Conflicting rumors about how Curry is progressing so far.

Just went through the game logs....

8 of the 14 losses without Curry were with Durant, Klay and Draymond playing.
10 of the 14 losses without Curry were with Durant and Draymond playing. (I.e., Klay was also out 2 of those losses.)

12/23 loss to Nuggets
12/29 loss to Hornets
1/10 loss to Clippers (no Klay)
1/30 loss to Utah
3/9 loss to Portland
3/11 loss to Twolves
3/29 loss to Bucks (no Klay)
4/5 loss to Pacers
4/7 loss to Pelicans
4/10 loss to Utah

... are not as good as the Rockets.
