If the Lakers pick ends up #1, you get Demps on the line immediately and start making AD offers.

If that fails, you invite everyone to make offers on DeAndre Ayton with the intent of dropping down a couple picks and grabbing Jaren Jackson.

On another note, can you imagine the tension in the room if the Laker pick is skipped at 10? Going to the commercial break with Boston and Philly holding their breath on who got a top 3 pick?

It won't approach the tension that we felt on lottery night in 2016 when we HAD to get one of the top two picks, and Simmons was the REAL prize.

If they get past the Lakers pick at 10 then it will be good news for us no matter what happens because even if it ends up at 2 or 3, it would mean that we are getting the Kings pick which is likely to be higher than 10 next year. We would also save the salary cost of a top 10 pick this year which could be meaningful for free agency.

Next year’s draft isn’t too hot. I’m good with skipping that one. A 10 pick this year is likely more valuable than a 5 pick next year.

I'll settle for 52 and 10.

From what i see now, the 2019 Draft will not be good. With RJ Barrett, Cam Reddish, and Zion Williamson being the top prospects as of now, I can safely say that I doubt we will be missing out on much. All of those guys are decent players, but I wouldn't lose any sleep over any of them.

If Porter starts to slip does anyone think BC will make a move to try and get him?

Either way you don’t risk giving up a generational player

not a fan of Doncic as an overall prospect but great fit for the Sixers. Kinda scratch my head when I see him discussed as an NBA point guard. He’s gonna have a rough time creating efficienctly, especially if it comes with his scary downturn in 3p%.

I want Mohamed bamba as the insurance policy to embiid.

Also, what do you guys think 10, 26, and philly 19 would fetch? Im really curious as to how far that could move up in the draft? I doubt we could even move the philly 19 because of the celtics deal unless we offered our 20 if 19 miraculously didn’t convey , but if we could i gotta think it could move philly into top 5? 3 first rd picks 1 already a top ten is nothing to scoff at.

Think Orlando, Chicago, Sacramento could be interested. But actually, I don't think it would get you higher than #8.

Hmm..

If embiid goes down, we go perimeter oriented lead by Ben or Fultz with either Bolden or Pasecniks at C.

No need to overpay for Bamba. At worst, we find Dedmon 2.0.

Sorry i didnt mean the trade up scenario to trade all that for a project big like bamba.

I think BC gonna go after trae young. Multiply that by a 1,000 if they fear fultz’ shot never returns.

Trade for proven player.

If Sixers keep it? Trade down and stockpile more assets while drafting Porter Jr or Luka.

wouldn't be a bad move. Could develop that into twin towers longterm and Embiid will each season miss some games.

But realistically we are picking #10 and I would favor Bridges from Nova or Lonnie Walker.

I like Ayton but no way I use the number one pick on him. We need a good reliable backup to Embiid but Ayton is not good for us. In today’s NBA having two big men starting together isn’t ideal. Having one beast in the middle is good enough.
