Buble's cover of this song is magnificent.

I found this interesting

“The sun shines down, and its image reflects in a thousand different pots filled with water. The reflections are many, but they are each reflecting the same sun. Similarly, when we come to know who we truly are, we will see ourselves in all people.” -Amma

Anyone else liking Jeff Rosenstock's "POST-" album? I really am, but I've tried to get a few of my friends into it that usually like the stuff I send, but nothing this time. Can't be me, right???

Spoiler:
Not the greatest audio quality, but here are a couple tracks from YouTube

Or the whole thing on https://jeffrosenstock.bandcamp.com/

Heather Nova (rock chick from Bermuda!) has some good stuff. If you can find a studio version of "Sugar" you're in for a treat. Here's a live version.

I'm sitting a foot away from Gordon at PAX East. Starcraft conference.

Allman Bros. live at Fillmore East is one of the best albums ever made / recorded. Fire from the first note to the last

Screaming Females has new stuff out. Earlier stuff is an acquired taste (great guitar, vocals grow on you), but they're a little more accessible now. Almost a little too pop-y, but a good intro song:

Older one that you gotta give a few minutes... (or skip to about 3:18 if you wanna get to some guitar soloing followed by the heavy riff around 3:58).

I got high with Marissa when they played my friend's old frat at in Philly last year.

She's cool.

I had the privilege of seeing them perform before Gregg passed away. Incredible show at the Beacon in NYC. Taj Mahal and Bonnie Raitt came out for a few songs which was **** amazing. Warren Hayes and Derek Trucks were straight up gods.

Nice. Other than I wish they weren't playing frats still. I chatted with them all briefly after a show in Seattle a few years back and they seemed pretty cool. One of the bands I buy rather than stream just to support them.

I don't know if you guys watch football or even the Champions League, but I believe most of you saw the match today of Real Madrid against Juventus... Was that a penalty by the end of the match by Benatia? To me it was not, to me it was a shameful call by the referee (they always do that to help Ronaldo win, no matter what).

Nah, it was a penalty.
He may have sold it but it's a foul.

Just dropping by. Letting everyone know I’m doing better. These things take time. I’m writing a book about it. Not sure when it’ll be finished. I’ll keep you posted. Go celtics.

Brother, I'd like nothing more than to see Buffon raising the CL trophy on his last game before retirement but to me that was a penalty. Vazquez may have sold it a little, but he gets pushed by Benatia at the same time he rolls his leg around him to intercept. There are two newspapers with the same image from opposite angles:

Was it frustrating? Yes. Dubious? Yes. But to me it's a penalty.
