Well if the Wizards won and got the 7th seed, they avoid Toronto and Cleveland and have a good shot at making the conference finals. Thats a lost opportunity for the Wizards.

This scenario probably doesnt do much for the Bucks, as they probably lose in the first round in any of the matchups.

How does that make you better than the Lin, Gallo, and Wil fans who root for them over NY?

this is a huge positive. thats a great spot in this years draft.

hello Robert Willams

Ernie most likely trade it with Ian in a package. for some washed up vet player.

Not a chance. Adding Williams on that rookie scale deal will give them flexibility, Gortat comes off he books next year along with Morris, Mahinmi comes off the following year.

They probably trade Gortat this summer though to avoid the tax. Maybe Williams starts right away or Mahinmi starts with williams off the bench.

Of course, who knows who they might pick

Yeah, but in true Grunfeldian fashion, one step forward means two steps back.

By finishing 7th the Bucks convey their pick, correct?

Is this game worth watching to see Khem Birch? Looking at the box score he made our bigs look like b*tches.

Shoulda kept him. Should coulda woulda.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

Least not for the better. I'm not giving up being a Wizards fan but I'm just sorely disappointed in this team. I thought that the momentum that was made last year would be enough to get this team going on the next level. Suddenly, everybody that was behind us is now ahead of us. I just don't know what to make of this new development. I feel bamboozled though. I feel like I wasted money and time on this team this year. Worst Wizards team in a long time.

All the time man.

I remember in November 2016, I took a break and didn't watch as many games... then in December-January they started to go on that run and got me hooked again...

And that was probably the highest point of being a fan in my life

I hope you guys beat Boston.

That is going to be one exciting series. I think Boston is one of the few teams that Giannis will not dominate because their wings are kind of long and athletic.

We not only Grunfelded it; we Brooksed it into the damn ground.

You don't rest Wall in a game you need to win. If you do rest Wall then go ahead and rest Beal also...

This was all kinds of bad on many levels other than he gave us the 15th pick.

But Ernie... he's going to do something with that pick. Watch.

He did. So did Dwayne Dedmon, who's paid a lot less than Jason Smith.

Our GM really outdid himself.

I can’t believe the Wizards had a path to the conference finals and have it up because they couldn’t beat a tanking team.

If that was his mindset, he would have traded the pick at the Trade Deadline.

EG is stupid but not that stupid. It is manifestly obvious that this team is a far distance away from being a legit contender. It's not the time to trade the pick for a short term fix. They'll use the pick. The problem is that the one making the pick is EG.
