But our front office absolutely cannot put up any type of leak that mentions them NOT being willing to max him out. As soon as they do, those teams will offer **** in any kind of S&T. The only way we get a good return in a S&T is if we make like we want him no matter what.

I think the Kings have a good chance on offering the max depending on lotto results that is.

Only realistic thing I think we could offer in a S&T would be Skal.

Would you be happy as a Kings fan to see your team offer him the max?

Not entirely sure, I do know this, we need to gamble on talent soon, no more middling vets. Gordon fits that mold. We aren't going to get a FA of that caliber any other way.

What about Aaron Gordon for your 1st round pick this year?

Gordon will be paid. Probably overpaid, but he will stay here. We have to have a reason for people to come to games and he is literally the only one on the team with the slightest markability. With the turnover rate here WeHam would probably both be fired if he leaves. I just really dont want Indiana throwing a max at him and him and dipo running the east. What a punch to the gut that would be

That's way too much more than likely. I'm certain you could get Skal, possibly Jackson too or the 36th pick.

A trade where he was all wrapped up and under a reasonable contract would be different. But a max contract in itself is all ready a gamble.

We tried to get Porter last year, I really do think we are likely to test the waters with Gordon.
