Best 2nd Base/SS Combo in Baseball?

This is a combo of defense, chemsitry (ability to turn double plays) and hitting. A short list of my candidates include:

Phillies (Rollins & Utley)
Yankees (Cano & Jeter)
O's (Tejada & Roberts)

also carlos guillen and placido palanco arent to shabby either.

Utley and Rollins are the best combination offensively, if you bring defense into the picture it brings Jeter/Cano a little closer.

I know cmaff and KYKgm are Yanks fans....but do you really think Rollins and Utley are that good? I mean I know they're good, but compared to Jeter and Cano in the same lineup....its really not even close.

Considering Utley>Jeter and Rollins>Cano, I'm pretty sure it's the Phillies. Well for this year, at least.

Utley and Rollins by far, those guys are so frikkin Dynamic especailly Utley. He completely mashes everything.

Rollins & Utley.
I like Hanley and Uggla as well.

But my "fan"-favorite combination has to be the Cubs.

Utley totally craps on the other three people. Rollins has a slightly better OPS (Albeit Slugging heavy) than the other two and will steal 30+ bases.

It was so beautiful watching Castillo and Reyes turning the game ending DP. Those guys are just amazing together batting 1 and 2 and playing up the middle.

It's hard to argue against Rollo/Utley, right now they're in a class of their own (despite Utley being hurt).

After them I'd go:

1. Hanley/Uggla
2. Jeter/Cano

And it hurts to say that.

I love the Yanks, don't get me wrong. But Hanley and Uggla might go down as one of the best "up-the-middle" combos in the last 30 years if they keep it up.
