Apart from that, the AMA was a pretty good read.
also mentioned that if he could create a musical about anyone in nba history, it would be Stephon Marbury...

we're not talking about the rangers.Dantares wrote:Lol that is funny but Dolan hasn't been the problem for years now.
I just don't think that's true. you don't have to be hands off to not be detrimental. I know some are going to comment on the fact that he has had a meddlesome reputation in the past, and for some reason, he doesn't now, but i think context is important.
He's trusted certain people who have been in some capacity, with this team for the better part of the time that he has controlled this team, and as we all know, this team has been far from successful in that time frame.

edit: I mean, its hockey so everything can happen.. But they have a lot of declining vets and zero elite prospects if they wanna rebuild.

James Dolan doesn't care about hockey.
Not at all.. For one, the Rangers have a healthy franchise, first time since 2004 they played meaningless hockey games. And they Rangers have about 2-3 elite prospects and a bunch of good prospects, one of them has super star potential in Filip Chytil. They have 8th best odds in the lottery, and the lottery in the NHL is how the NBA will be next year, teams in the 6-10 range has a great chance at a top 3 pick. I think the Rangers has 25% chance at that. And they also have 2 more first round picks and like 4 picks within rounds 2 and 3, this upcoming draft. 7 freaking picks in the first rounds is crazy. This team is nothing like the Knicks, they actually have a healthy environment. It's their first year attempting a rebuild, they've done things the Knicks never done with trying to build an actual franchise the right way, when the Knicks have been trying for a long while and always seem to be stuck in the mud.ChaosHamster wrote:Aren't Rangers like in the worse situation than the Knicks?
