Adam Dunn will either hit a Home Run, walk, or strikeout. He's been a bit hot lately but his avg was in the .240-.250s I believe a month ago.
I say unload him now from a Reds perspective when hes out and teams will overpay a the trade deadline if they are desperate. We have a surplus of outfielders and we play in GABP where home runs come in a plethora.

That Dunn has not been dumped (yet) by a front office who's motto is Be Cheap but Inept should be a plus to Reds fans. The Reds have in recent years traded nearly everyone with talent to get second level prospects.
The only reason Dunn and Griffey are not long gone is that the bosses would have to charge AAA prices for tickets.

The home run half of that.rocketsfan94 wrote:i mean he either strikes out or hits a home run its one of the 2. what is the good side to him?
If the current Red's MGMT were not just focused on the quick buck and CARED....Dunn would be in a Big League Lineup (with the Reds) rather than on a roster with a half dozen legit big leaguers...half of which will be gone by april.
I grew up in Cincy in the Big Klu era...never thought I'd see the team in perpetual tank mode. What a damn shame.

Do not be fooled by this streak for Adam. It conveniently comes at a time he is due to recieve a payday. We have his $13 million option for next year. I am not saying that he wasn't trying before but....Hopefully, he figured things out and this success isn't an lucky streak because I'm going to guess that we are going to pick up his option rather than lose him for nothing.
And regarding half a dozen legit big leaguers I certainly hope you are not reffering to the position players because many of those players have played exceptionally wells against teams in the playoff hunt. Dunn is in a decent line-up its just the pitching fails us time and time again as well as our inability to hit with RISP during the first half(which put is in this big hole) and Adam is PARTIALLY to blame for that.
Again, I am in no means a Dunn hater, just a frustrated fan tired of this bullpen and Dunns strikeouts. I hope that maybe he will be able to carry his recent success into next season.
