2018 Commonwealth Games

Post#1 » by Spens1 » Sun Apr 15, 2018 2:41 am

As i'm watching the boomers give the understrength canadian team a hiding of a lifetime. I can only wonder what if both teams had their full squads (Simmons, Exum vs Wiggins, Murray etc). What a match that would be.

Anyway thoughts on the competition so far, i'll be honest, quality has been pretty abysmal i must say. This is a third string Aussie team basically and we've had scrubs rejecting callups so they can go play in second rate leagues elsewhere which shows where the priority is.

The Aussie team is the second best international side in basketball at the moment.

Simmons, Ingles, Exum, Bolden, Baynes, Mills, Maker, Dellevadova, Mathiang, Bogut, Adel with Green coming in a couple of years as well.

In Simmons and Exum they have two of the elite athletes of the NBA, let alone international level basketball.

Bolden will destroy international basketball with his size as skill set as well.

Simmons will be 2 years older by Tokyo, he will be unstoppable by then.
