Sure, but PG13 isn't going to shoot at 70%+ efg for the whole series.

Utah might get swept in this series. I picked OKC in 6 but the series might not last that long lol

You're telling me Mitchell aint a star? Also Gobert is a star, this just isn't a great matchup for him.

I agree Mitchell and Gobert are stars.

Utah doesn't have particularly elite individual perimeter defenders. They play great team defense and have an elite defensive anchor.

OKC is immune to some of this, because they play a lot of isolation and P&R basketball where they can put those individual defenders on an island in space.

Good points. Yeah, this isn't a good match-up for the Jazz. I know the playoffs is its own season, but the reasons you gave shed some light on the Thunder's 3-1 regular season series win.

Bottom line is the Thunder have the two best players in this series. They will make quick work out of the Jazz.

I expect Utah to adjust though, and obviously PG will cool down. Every playoff game takes on it's own identity. Gotta win 4. Utah will respond.

Towna is overrated. Put a good center on him, and he disappears. He sucks at defense.

edit: wrong thread lol

Okc winning would not be an upset. Just because more people here voted for the Jazz doesn’t mean they were right in doing so.

these comments are going to look funny when Paul's shooting comes down to earth. If PG would of shot 5/11 from down town that makes the difference of a win and a loss.

Nah, it was Westbrook dude.

just because adams went for a one hand slam doesnt mean he was showing off, it was a tough catch and he needed his full extension westbrook, who has had plenty of PO experience, needed to slow down the pace instead rushed into awful shots which in turn equals poor BBIQ

just my opinion tho

Yeah - I agree game should have been slowed down - it was irresponsible of him as their leader. I mostly think of poor IQ as not reading what the other team is going do, or knowing what you should do in a specific moment - so more play by play stuff...but you got a good point that it could be big picture/pace of game stuff too.

I also think Billy Donovan should have reigned him in ASAP - maybe called a timeout, etc. hopefully he at least gives him a good talking to after all that cause it could have ended up w/ them losing. Wasn’t the first time they’ve done that stuff either. The early season Sacramento and Boston losses come to mind.

I'm not sure about the quick work comment but I do agree that the Thunder have the two best players in the series which usually leads to a playoff series win. I think Utah can still make it quite interesting but think they really need to win game 2.

They are the higher seed. Even if you think it is a pick-um series, OKC winning wouldn’t be an “upset”.
