The Pacers did a lot right in this game. What doesn't get mentioned is how they stayed away from their weaknesses. One of those is when Thad tries to be a ball handler. Just let him do what he does well, and work to avoid what he (and others) don't do well.

What is that called? Playing to your strengths and away from your weaknesses.

If Indian snags game 2, I can legitimately say that the Cavs might just be done in the first round.
The scariest question in NBA history.

"Can Stephen Curry get better?"

Bogey held up surprisingly well vs LBJ.

But the star of the game, as usual, is Oladipo. He's the kind of superstar we've never had (sorry, PG).

Woke up at 5am to catch some of the game, and then watched the balance on the train (and a bit at my desk).

Huge win!!!!!

Question about turner unrelated to this game. Has he been disappointing this season? Offensively his numbers haven’t looked great and doesn’t look like he has taken the next step on last season.

How’s his defense been? I imagine on and off injuries have been one of the major problems.

I’m just asking because I’m curious because I had him on my fantasy team all season and he seemed like he was gonna be really good last season.

Did the same, unfortunately.

Turner started the season with a concussion in the first game, kept him out 7 or so, then he hurt his elbow that kept him out a few more. Then he had an ankle sprain. So it seems just when he seems to get going he got hurt again.

No question he does need to get stronger, 15 lbs of muscle by the beginning of next year would be nice. He end up 3rd in blocks and he tries on defense. I think the Pacers will stick with him, people talk about trading him and using Domas but I want to keep them both.

Was reading through the Cavs forum this morning. Couple of posts jumped out to me:

"Forcing Bogdanovic into a passer is the key to a sweep here imo. Looking forward to turning Dipo back into Orlando Dipo in this series."

"It was an exciting game and should be a good series, I never expected the Pacers to win a game."

Cav fans really expected a sweep.. crazy.

This team just continues to surprise and impress me. WHAT A GAME!!! The Pacers answered every single run with a run of their own.

Dipo was Dipo
Bogey was great defensively
Myles looked like Myles
Collison didn't shoot it well but played well in every other aspect
Thad was Mr. Hustle
Lance was great off the bench. Thought he did a good job of keeping the antics in check.
Domas played well once he got into the grove.
Love the hustle Booker gives us. He fits into the team so well.

We just flat wanted it more and out hustled them. I expect a different energy from the Cavs in game 2.
