.. yeah a bunch of young players like RHJ, Okafor, etc probably don't care.

But guys like LeBron, PG, CP3, etc, who are actually in the spotlight and have wives/baby mamas, they very much care.

because they're all hooking up with strippers after every road game?

why does everyone ignore that in wide lense shot of that scenario, nick young was the douche bag.

Levert looks like a better player tbh. Marks has done an admirable job tho for what he had to wrk with

Hey Brooklyn Fans, any opinions on DLO?

Or is it the same as Laker fans opinion of DLO. Which are highly talented, slow footed, bad knees, streaky shooter, better off as a shooting guard, ok defense, good with the media, ok team player.

There can be more than 1 DB in a situation.

In a locker room to have done what he did is likely more unforgivable than what Nick Young did.

He has to put in the work over the summer to earn playing time and show it on the court next season otherwise it's bull ****. He said similar things about his defense but he's still a bad defender..
Jeremy Lin said he wants to lead the defense next year and now he says no I want to be the leader lol.

Brooklyn was 30th in turnovers with him leading the way.

D'Angelo lost his starting spot to Spencer Dinwiddie when he came back they tried to play him off guard but it didn't work. With Lin, Crabbe, LeVert, Dinwiddie he's the odd man out imo. Doesn't play defense and he's too careless with the ball.

His rookie year he said he was trying to come up with a pre-game routine. Kobe, arguably the hardest worker in the league, offered to help him, but he turned it down. That's just an example of what I'm saying. He says the right things, but then he doesn't back it up.

Now he says he wants to be a lead guard. Okay DLo, what are you going to do about it? Are you going to hit up your skills trainer? Reach out to other elite guards for advice? Run drills in the gym for hours and hours everyday? Stop talking and start doing. That's the first sign of maturity.

Well, he is going into a contract year. That's usually when guys put in a little extra work

I remember when DLo and BI were at the rising stars game last year and they asked BI a question about scoring with DLo sitting right next to him and he joked about how he can’t score because DLo never passes the ball.

I always thought that was an odd statement, especially at an all star type game. I know he was joking, but there’s a truth to jokes.

I was against the trade, but Zo and Kuzma/Ball have me over that. Magic and Pelinka made a great trade.

I still LOVE DLo’s potential and am a fan of his game. Has high upside still if he gets it together.

It's not only his motor, he just doesn't play with courage. I don't think Laker fans are missing the guy after seeing the two newest Laker guards Lonzo and Josh leave it all on the court every night.

The Lakers front office doesn't ask for perfection, they want guys who are going to grind out games. Russell has not shown that, at least yet.

Threads like this are just an excuse for people to come in and bash the guy. It doesn't even matter what he says. People are so predictable.

You would say that, bran muffin.

Seriously. What happened to the supposed "point guard" skills? He constantly turns the ball over. After watching Rondo put the ball in the correct spots for his teammates, you can't watch DLO and think the same thing.

When he was drafted he said he wanted to be "the smartest player on the court". When I watch him play it looks like he's thinking too much rather than just reacting. I think thats a bigger issue than the motor. That split second of thinking is what separates role players from stars.

Some lead guards score more than pass (Kobe), some are more combo guards (Wade). Some are natural pass-first guys like Simmons and Lonzo. DLo is still trying to figure out where his natural equilibrium is. It might still click for him but he has to put in a lot of work.

He should probably play Shooting guard or get big enough for Small Forward.

He should join Philly and be their 6th man in RFA. Play with his Highschool buddies.

Russell is #99 out of 103 point guards in DPRM, dude needs to work on not being a turnstile before becoming the leader of the Nets.

He would get obliterated every night checking opposing small forwards.
