Cleveland has no one (besides maybe Lebron) that can guard Oladipo and they don’t have the length to give Sabonis a lot of trouble. The key I think will be how Turner does. If Turner performs well, we’ll have a really good chance to win this series. If he doesn’t, I think we lose in 5 or 6.

I don’t think we’ll win the series but putting odds on it I’d give us a 30% chance to pull the upset.

Honestly not that bad of a matchup?? I would literally rather play any other team in the East than Cle. I mean I get what you're saying about the actual matchup.... but Bron is the eraser.

I understand what you're saying, and I agree with you. I do because I have to, because it's LeBron. But you know what? His first round streak has to end one day, and I'd LOVE to be the team that ends it.

Why not THIS Pacers team? God knows they've worked for it. I believe, baby.

I like the matchup a lot!
Obviously I would have preferred any team other than the Cavs, Raps and maybe Philly in the first round, but going up against Lebron, they have absolutely nothing to lose! And I think that is a situation this Pacers team likes to be in.
If they lose the round, they lost a first round series against Lebron, nothing to be ashamed of as nobody has ever beat him in the first round.
I am sick of competing in a 7 game series by "not getting blown out" like we did last year, but this team is not ready yet to be counted as a real contender, especially not this year.
Think about it, if we want to make any noise this year in the Playoffs, we will have to beat CLE, then TOR, and then PHI. That would be amazing but I don't think it will happen.

I am already so damn proud of this team, every win we get now is just icing on the cake.

I put $100 on Indiana to win the series. I get a $665 payout if they win.

I watched the Cle-Indy series closely last year. Cleveland was much better last year. Indy was not nearly as good.

That series was waaaaay too close to just assume Cleveland will roll with this collection of washed up vets and horrible players (Thompson, smith, & hood have no business in a playoff rotation)

I mean at his age there is at least a 5% chance Lebron gets injured enough to the point he can't play effectively enough to win the series.

People are really sleeping on how bad this cleveland team is. That said I expect the Cavs to win... but i like them odds.

If Lance Stephenson has a "playoff level" where he can flip the switch and play to his former standards instead of being as atrocious as he's been all year, who knows?

Agreed. Too many people just give the benefit of the doubt to Cleveland and think they're just going to sleepwalk to another Finals appearance but they're going to receive a major shock a few weeks from now. Cleveland had a 0 SRS season and was ranked 29th defensively this year. No team with stats like that has ever made the Finals. I don't think Indiana is going to win but I do think they will win 2 games this go around and end Lebron's undefeated first round streak since 2012.

For the record, I +1'd your comment before I saw the remarks on Lance, lol.

He's has not been atrocious this season. He's been a motor for the Pacers and has had some serious impact in countless games.

Eh, with Lance's size and skillset he should be a very good defender and he's anything but that these last few years. There's just no reason he can't be a solid contributor on that end

I agree. He has been ok as an on the ball defender. He has to lead the league in ball watching and getting beat backdoor. He is can be a big spark for the Pacers or a big spark for the opponent. We refer to it as good Lance and bad Lance.

Wishing you guys all the best. Cavs defense is so bad that you have very real chance in dethroning LeBron as Eastern Conference champion.

My favorite part of the game 1 win is watching national media figures that generally ignore this team starting to figure out what people who have been watching the Pacers knew a few weeks into the season. There's something special about this group.

Pacers in 4 before the series started probably would have been close to 20/1.

Edit: Pacers in 4 now is 12/1 and Pacers in 5 is 8/1.
