Biyombo was a conscious decision by Frank. I doubt henni would have done it without Frank's hiring.
henni was all about positionless basketball. But Frank's defensive scheme in Indiana relied heavily on having two bigs...
Ibaka, green, etc... I understand. When you're about to get fired, you bring people you're comfortable with. Ibaka, Green, DJ were just 3 of the guys Henni have had experienced with as part of a successful front office in OKC. He thought these guys would help save his job.
What I liked about Henni was, he at least tried to cover up the Ibaka mistake and get to restart the rebuild for the next management by trading Ibaka for Ross and a 1st round pick. At least he didn't do nothing and leave us with basically nothing for Vic and Domantas.
