Yikes, you should really relax a little. Its the Around the NBA thread, designed for people to talk about other teams in the league. If it bothers you that much, perhaps you should avoid this thread. You seem to be the only one getting upset.
I'm relaxed. I just swear a **** ton. You know this.
People can post about whatever they want, and I can call them insecure. I'm not sure what your issue is.
To reiterate: the people that don't like the amount of hype Philly is getting should perhaps shut the **** up about Philly. Its counterintutive at best; it plays into whatver perceieved media narrative/agenda they think is happening at worst. The "media" has succeded in getting them to discuss Philly endlessly and care about the winner of that series.
On a somewhat different note: its just sad to me to see people cheering for the Heat, a team we should historically hate, just because of "the media hyping Philly" (some conversely seem bothered by them succesfuly tanking). There are many reasons to hate Philly, including our actual historical rivalry with them, lol. I find their reasoning to be petty and questionably timed.
Personally, I want Philly to win because I want to see how Rozier/Brown/Tatum measure up against Simmons/Embiid. Hell, the NBA fan in me loves watching them play cuz theyre fun as hell.
I just think its completely bizarre/funny that ESPN had put out two puff pieces about two dudes who have played about 10 minutes total in a 1-1 series. ****, if anything, they should be hyping Simmons as he’s been amazing. Not bum ass Fultz and an amazingly talented dude with a broken face.
Fultz was so bad in Game 2 that they benched him for f***** TJ McConnell. Dude has sucked in this series (and most of the year).
