The actual starting five is Hill-JR-Korver-LBJ-Love and my jaw nearly hit the floor. This should be worse than Game 1.

The two Oladipo fouls were huge; I wouldn't have taken him out if I were McMillan because that's gonna do more harm than good.

People get too obsessed with "Love needs more touches/Love needs to post up more/Green needs to shoot a higher percentage/etc."; just play within the flow of the game and it'll work itself out.

19-3, but you gotta credit that to Oladipo being on the bench.

They are a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off with Oladipo on the bench; he comes back in and they relax - back to a 7-point differential.

That non call on the close out where love landed on Young foot was bs good sign love still out there despite the obvious pain he's in

Indiana wins this game if Dipo doesn't get into foul trouble; this really didn't convince me of anything other than we are doomed going into Indy. He only finished with 3 fouls anyway, so there was no reason to pull him early.

We got the W and we put Dipo in the foul trouble putting him in those positions and can do it again. Swish played a hell of a game defensively
Taking the oppositions best player out of the game definitely helped considering we still gave him driving lanes not forcing him off straight lines despite playing better defensively overall.
This team has to not only lock in on defense better than tonight they have to be smarter on the switches, maybe stop the constant switching against this opponent. If we had been playing together well on the defensive side of the ball in the regular season in all potential rotations I'd have a lot more confidence but we have to do it on the fly and hope it works given we are just now finally healthy ( assuming Love is ok)

I'd like to see a replay of the game because I felt like Love was fouled at least a couple of times on the block and it just wasn't called. The NBA has to decide what type of game it wants because they've taken the post game completely out of the league unless you're big enough to overpower people. Meanwhile, our starting PG had 5 fouls three minutes in the third quarter and our backup finished with 4 fouls.

It's kinda hard to see us winning in Indiana with how we barely squeaked by today and then got crushed in Game 1. Our role players have been horrible and yet role players generally play better at home. We're going to need some godly performances from LeBron.

This team reminds me of the first LeBron stint Cavs but without the lockdown defense.

This is a better link. Will play game 3 but I'm not so sure I buy it won't impact his game.
Glad nothing worse etc

I don't think he should play. Tony Allen was on NBA TV last night and said he couldn't even grip a coffee mug after he tore a ligament in his thumb. Marcus Smart is out for the playoffs with the same injury. Those are two of the toughest guys in the NBA. This is probably Kevin doing something stupid because of the soft narrative.

Could be but we both know he ain't soft he is just injury prone which if anything says he's becoming Mr glass.
If he can play without hurting it further he has to play ,so the only question is will he get the correct diagnosis or the one that leaves it wide open and like you say he takes his chances and it hurts him worse trying to play through it. Idk but I don't like our chances in this series without him even at 75% of his ability in shorter stints or whatever it takes.

Probably more to do with the reality that the cavs lose without love so he wants to play and win. Probably a lot more important to him than a perception of being soft.

Yep If we could get Hood to play that kind of body up defense we would be fine... not expecting it though.
I will be struggling to understand what it is that keeps Osman off the floor if Hood continues to stink it up.
I don't expect Cedi to have nearly as much trouble making an impact because his hustle creates offense for us despite
not having a reliable jumper. Either way we have a lot of players that do not have complete 2-way skills.

No truer statement has ever been said. I said like a monkey trying to hump a doorknob but same idea.

I had the same injury in high school. I couldn't imagine playing 2 days later. Let alone it not effecting my play. Different sport but still. I couldn't grip anything. Hope it is just mild. Never want to see guys get hurt.
