Bucks frustrated with Jabari Parker?
http://larrybrownsports.com/basketball/bucks-frustrated-jabari-parker-immaturity-jealousy-giannis/439147
"The Milwaukee Bucks have some soul-searching to do now that they are down 2-0 to the Boston Celtics, and part of it may center around a core player.
Yahoo! Sports’ Jordan Schultz reported Tuesday that multiple coaches have said that the Bucks are frustrated with forward Jabari Parker’s immaturity due to a perceived lack of touches. Schultz also adds that the team believes Parker has developed an “unhealthy” amount of jealousy towards star teammate Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The 23-year-old Parker, who just returned to the lineup in February after suffering the second right ACL tear of his NBA career, averaged 12.6 points on 10.7 shot attempts per game during the regular season (as opposed to 26.9 points on 18.7 shots per game for Antetokounmpo). Parker was also the higher draft pick (No. 2 overall as opposed to No. 15), but Antetokounmpo obviously has become the undisputed leader and face of the Bucks.
With Parker due for restricted free agency in the summer, this is obviously a bad time for any potential tension between the two star teammates to emerge again as it has in seasons past."
Jabari is about to hit RFA this summer. What should the bucks do?

Let him go for sure. Doesn't seem to be helping them much. However, finding an adequate replacement won't be easy.
I still love how Jabari worked those baseline dunks before his injury

So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

Parker wants to get paid bad. Stay healthy first. On another note, isn't jealousy somewhat forbidden amongst Mormons?
Being a Blazer fan isn't exactly healthy.

Not sure coming off as a bad teammate is going to help him get paid.

If he indeed is jealous of Giannis, let him walk. Can't have that.

Blame game starting already?
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Re: Bucks frustrated with Jabari Parker?
I think Jabari is a legit talent, but not a good fit with Giannis they are essentially both athletic slashing tweeners. Bucks should just trade everyone outside of Giannis/Middleton.

Haven't you seen how he plays?
Or the splits, Giannis on, Jabari off vs Jabari on, Giannis off? Or the complete lack of effort or care? He's been terrible this week. Not sure what's wrong but he's hurting the team.

Re: Bucks frustrated with Jabari Parker?
I said it in a Bucks thread before, but Bucks need to let Parker go. They have a 3 year window after this year to be a Finals team or else Giannis is gone. With the bad deals given to guys like Henson, Snell, Delladova they can't afford to gamble on Parker a) staying healthy and b) being the stud he was projected to be. By letting Parker walk they wont be able to do much next year but in a loaded 19 FA class they'll have significant cap room to add to their core of Giannis, Middleton and Brogdon.
They also need to get a HR hire for HC too. That will help get this team working together better, make Giannis more comfortable and recruit FAs. But letting Parker walk, while a bitter pill to swallow is the right move.

So does it become possible that he bolts in the summer, and they get nothing in return??

The weird thing is that tanking his value means the Bucks might get him cheaper as a Restricted Free Agent, but that's crazy right?

Ppl turned on him pretty fast but his defensive IQ is horrendous

Re: Bucks frustrated with Jabari Parker?
Jabari is now -29 in the 25 minutes he has played. Bucks fans have literally been wondering if he is purposely playing poorly in order to get himself out of Milwaukee; If he has been THROWING PLAYOFF GAMES. He has been THAT bad.
He has torn the same ACL twice. A third tear would seal his NBA career. He is an athletic slasher and his 3pt shot has improved this year even if it is a really slow and akward shot. But he is a selfish offensive player. When he gets the ball it is almost certainly going up. And he is a horrifyingly bad defender. These are the skills of a bench player yet he sees himself as a superstar; he sees himself as a player who should be getting max money and taking touches away from Giannis.
The Bucks are largely capped out. So if they don't sign/match (he is a restricted FA at the end of the season) they won't have the cap space to replace him with anything. For the longest time Bucks fans were just planning on matching whatever he got, but lately we have spent some time trying to figure out at what price point we match. At this point I'm not even sure I want to leave the 8.9M QO out there. If you can't be bothered to care in the playoffs you can't be on playoff caliber teams. Even if the Bulls end up signing him and he avg 24 a game next year, I'm still not sure I will care. In his 3 biggest games in his life, tourney games and playoff games, he has been relegated to the bench because he wasn't playing hard. That's just who he is.

Lol, Gasol even him being older and not as good, would be a great fit for the Bucks.

Who’s actually gonna pay him anyway? I don’t think the market for him will be great

Bledsoe and Jabari for Conley (assuming he is healthy). Conley is exactly who the Bucks need at point. A PG who can not only shoot but control the pace of the game and get people the ball where they need it.

Re: Bucks frustrated with Jabari Parker?
They should let him walk, not worth the investment for the Bucks who need to do a major roster overhaul around Giannis
