Watching the clip of Brown saying that he is still doubtful sounds like plausible deniability to me.

My brother just texted me and said that someone called into 97.5 and said that he had it on good authority that Embiid has been given medical clearance for tonight.

Maybe it was someone from this forum, but take it with a grain of salt.

He said his source was someone on the medical staff. Different source than mine.

That would be two sources so we should be able to write a story now.

He has credibility in the sense that he is close to the team and has sources, but the medical opinions of doctor's who haven't examined Embiid are pointless and inflammatory to the situation.

It serves nobody to put out information that misleads the public and implies that the Sixers are being negligent and risking Embiid's career by bringing him back tonight.

The whole point of the mask is to protect him so talking about what would happen if he took a bad blow to the face without the mask is pointless at the very least, and damaging/inflammatory at the worst.

If I were the Sixers I would tell him in no uncertain terms that if he does that again(remember, he did this throughout the foot and knee saga's as well) that he will lose his access. He is hurting the Sixers not by telling the truth, but by publishing what is basically a guess by a medical professional who hasn't seen the scans, or examined the patient, which because of the credibility that the casual fan would ascribe to the paper that employs him, and the credentials of the doctor interviewed, would think that the Sixers are jeopardizing his career right now.

It doesn't educate. It misleads.

Sorry, i dont have any of that information.

If the reporting is true about the mask that will also protect his eyes, that would confirm what i heard about them wanting to have a mask and goggles
