Marlins at Brewers Series Thread

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Thu Apr 19, 2018 2:12 am

After taking 2 of 3 against the lowly Reds we now have a 4 game set against the lowly Marlins (with the lowly Royals on deck).

Thursday - 7:10 - Peters vs. Anderson
Friday - 7:10 - Richards cs. Chacin
Saturday - 6:10 - Urena vs. Suter
Sunday - 1:10 - Smith vs. Guerra

Brinson hasn't been playing much.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Brinson has been really struggling. .316 OPS.. sheesh

Brinson is still young and he only has about 100ABs over his career, but he hasn't impressed so far. Ugly start to his career. Hopefully, for his sake, he turns it around.

Well not having an extra base hit yet this year will do that. :o

I'm rooting for him but he can wait to break out of his slump until after this series. :D

It will be interesting to see how long they stick with him up at the MLB level. Its not like they are trying to win but at some point you have to worry be loses confidence and really starts to press.

Was just looking at Harrison and Diaz and they are really struggling at AA to start the year. I'm sure they will come around but it's been a pretty rough ride for everyone involved in this trade so far.

They just benched him for a series with the plan for him to play against us this weekend. I would guess if he doesn't show something in the next week or two they will send him down to AAA to protect his confidence like you said.

Wonder when the Marlins are going to play their first games in the British Virgin Islands.

Marlins Man going down there and investigating the whole sham is **** hillarious. His feud with jeter is an underrated fun story of the season.

You just knew that would **** happen for Brinson in his first at bat against us. It was practically a given.

He can't hit a breaking ball to save his life so of course Anderson grooves a fastball right down the middle for him. Makes a ton of sense.

I just finished sending "wow Brinson has been an absolute turd in the majors so far" to my friends and then looked up and he hit the homer.
