whiteside shouldnt be seeing the floor at all. he is a shell of his former self. dude is pulling a hibbert on us. went from being a dominant player to be a scrub that occasionally makes a nice play. give him the ball and he will most likely turn it over or throw up a brick. wade has to force feed him lobs to score and his body language is just awful. it looks like he lost all confidence, and instead of doing the little things without the ball, he just complains and blames others. i'd rather see udonis out there starting, i'd rather watch a guy bust his ass and give all out effort.

dont get crazy and overreact with embiid, force him to take jumpers and dont send the double because he can find an open man. stay on top of their 3pt shooters and let simmons score as much as he wants. also our guys cant chit the bed in the 2nd half, if shots arent falling, have to attack the rim

Yeah but then that motivated Embiid. He basically not only blocked Winslow but in the same play but took the ball for a fast break move. I’m pretty sure he called Winslow a weak ass bleep, pay back from the other game. Some players you want to upset, others you don’t and are playing with fire. We will find out next game. Basically unless we have a Prime Wade performance we are toast.

I think he’s disengaged cause he’s mentally broken now and feels Spo gave up on him. Like every other team before us, until now. Lebron usually has some ulterior motive when he does this. Hassan is a sensitive big man like Shaq. Gotta keep em happy to keep em going. Too late now.

We pay him $23,775,506 to keep him happy. Beyond that it's his job to make us happy. He isn't holding up his end of the bargain.

Hassan's job is to make us happy? What is Spo's job? He's the guy pulling the strings and sitting him on the bench and STILL losing by 20-30pts...

They are BOTH failing while collecting fat checks.

Clearly making us happy is not their job. If it was Spo would tank when I wanted him to tank and he'd playing an inside out game instead of the hybrid/small ball he WANTS to play.

I see it both ways. Hassan should be a professional and bust his ass for the 12 minutes a game he gets on the court. Spo should also be a professional and do WHATEVER IT TAKES to get the most out of his players and team and realize that not every player is made the same. For better or worse he's lost the most expensive piece of this team.

This franchise needs to figure out what identity it wants. They have a certain mindset in the planning and acquiring players and a different one in execution. It seems they get in agreement when it comes to signing players, but when it comes to on the court its all Spo's decisions and his decisions don't complement the players he has.

If Riley wasn't so old I'd want him to come down and coach this team because I fully believe he'd be able to get more out of these guys.

They need to get rid of one or the other and we know Spo isn't going anywhere. Hopefully we don't give up more draft picks to move Hassan.

You think Pat could win more with a team whose go to player is a 36 year old dead legged DWade?

This is what we've got, and we can't get rid of Hassan and his piss poor attitude fast enough.

I think Pat Riley wouldn’t use Wade as his go to player. He got rid of him after all only to bring him back in a min contract  I don’t think a Riley team would get into a running game with Philly either. He would slow the game down just by the nature of an “old fashion” system he would run. This team needs to play like the 90s early 2000s Heat to win.

This is exactly what Pat brought Wade back for. And it's a minor train wreck.

I love it, he asked for and got a response from the opposing teams best player. Everything else is negotiable.

First and foremost, congratz my dude. Privileged to be a peer of yours as you've struggled through your maturation to doctor and parenthood. Not mad at Winslow's non-scoring second, fact that he scored and attacked so much is all I need. Grown man drives, full speed, no hesitation on either shot or drive... Need to carry that to the second next time

Our boy is grown Bish. Some straight villainry and I phuckin love it. He’s ready for the next phase. Games being at 9am on a Friday not ideal for game watching sadly but I’m gonna rewatch the first half with tissues.

Thanks. That means a lot. Been a struggle for real.

I'm expecting bigger and better from Winslow moving forward. Glad we saw a glimpse last game. Growth is good.

Why am I seeing people complain about Spo?

You know, some of you deserve for him to leave for a team with more talent, and then come back semi-annually to throttle our asses, as a constant reminder of how stupid some fans are.

When your franchise player and defensive achor has a skillset from yesteryear, and an effort level rapidly approaching zero, you've already got a foot in the grave. We'd be better off if Whiteside was injured, because then we wouldn't have to waste minutes on him, and could build the entire gameplan around a more modern offense, and hustle defense. Spo coached that terrifying "piranha" defense with the Big3, anchored by Bosh, who some fans called soft, and was never known for being a defensive star. You gonna blame that same coach for this mess?

Philly can get away with packing the paint, because Hassan is a black hole who can't find the open man. Switch roles, and Embiid would destroy those traps. You don't need to be an elite passing big. You just need to not be a blackhole. You need to not be Hassan. The only thing I think you can fault Spo for is his allegiance to Wade, but that's basically the Kobe rule in effect. Wade can do whatever he wants because he's brought Spo and the franchise their brightest moments. Spo will ride with him until he retires. As a Heat fan, we just gotta grin and bear it.
