We really should buy a 2nd rounder and consider taking Ajdin Penava out of Marshall. Dude is 6'10, can handle the ball, shoot, play off the ball and led the NCAA in blocks if i'm not mistaken

I too would find completely fleecing another team appealing.

I wouldn’t call it fleecing. You’re getting a 24 year old All Star. You gotta give up a lot to get that.

It's more than Minnesota gave up for Jimmy Butler. Fleecing.

I think we looking for versatile players. Guys who can switch on to guards and be able to put the ball on the floor like this.

Him and Banga i see us looking at

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

6 for Ingram is very interesting, if the Lakers add LeBron and George.....

But, there'd be a LOT of suitors too. I think the Lakers can do better than 6 honestly, for him. He's actually younger than Lauri, I think he's definitely a future star.

Lakers will use Ingram to get Kawhi to pair with LBJ and/or George.

Not sure what the deal with Whiteside this year, but I think they like Bam and we all know that Wade isn't good for team harmony.

I'd take him, but that deal ain't gonna cut it. Maybe Portis, Shrek and Pels pick gets it done.

Why do we want Whiteside again? He turns 29 this summer and is not on the Bulls timeline.

The 6 and 22nd with B. Portis and a future pick along with taking Luol Deng's contract might be enough to get Ingram.

Klay Thompson

Post#1051 » by Ayman78 » Sun Apr 22, 2018 3:47 am

What do you folks think it would take for the Bulls to acquire him via a trade next season?

If you were the Warriors would you rather trade Thompson in order to get value for him? Or, option number 2 let the season play out, and possibly win again, knowing that he may walk in the off-season for nothing?

I appreciate your input in advance.

He is staying in Golden State. He's been pretty adamant about that for years. He's also on record saying he wouldn't want to play in "cold" cities. He's not going anywhere and they ain't trading him for anything on this Bulls roster.

True. Whatever it takes to get rid of Shrek.

Personally, I think he'd be a good fit, specially if we don't pick a C at 6. Also, I don't think RoLo is a great defender and it seems Whiteside has had some problems in Miami this season. And of course I don't want to see Felicio in the Bulls uniform ever again.

How about Portis and Pels pick to Portland for Zach Collins?

With Portland going out early and a lot of money on the books you have to think they are open for changes.
Any interest in Lillard or McCollum? I’m not in love with any of the two or their contracts, but i may consider it on discount deal if we don't re-sign lavine.
Something like Asik, Portis, felicio and pels pick for McCollum.
They get tons of saving since they can cut asik, a first round pick and a prospect while losing the clear best player.

I can't see portland doing that, especially since you are throwing two garbage contracts in the package.

I'm intrigued by the Clippers picks at 12 and 13. Would they take Portis and 22 for 13? They are thin at PF/C and don't seem to be in a rebuild. With 13 we would have a shot at Miles Bridges, Zhaire Smith, Robinson or whoever else is moving up the charts. Do the Clips really want two rookies? Do they have a bad contract they want to shed?

I believe asik to be guaranteed for only 3 milions. That's 11 millions of saving in the first year without including the tax. I can understand if they want more talent coming back but the saving is big.
