Bad call at first seemed to mess Maine up. He was pitching good and then he turned into another pitcher.

choker? its a regular season game.. hes got 12 wins an era at 3 and should have gotten out of that inning without any runs because of a blown call at 1st.. choker is someone who sucks in big games, not a guy whos been brilliant all year except for like 4 innings..

Damn, Sosa has guts. Everytime I watch this guy he is always pitching around Mets' errors.

gtfoh. Game 6 against Chris Carpenter is not a big game? No games this year come close to that in bigness.

Maine just lost it today. Maybe he got a little too cocky after the first 2 innings. Then stuff got in his head like the Theriot BS call and not getting the double play. It was just a weird game from him.

huge game today, can make a 4-2 road trip as well as Glavine's 300.

I would have taken 3-3 before the road trip started but 4-2 would be very pleasant.

no, yesterday's game just proves how young maine is. He totally lost it. you could tell after every pitch he was getting more and more frustrated. he lost the plate, and couldnt even throw his fastball for a strike.

what you take from this game from maine is that the kid still has a lot to learn, and the same holds true for perez. sky is still the limit for both pitchers.

Tom finally wins his 300th game, and the thing that will be overlooked is that we took both series.
