That was the biggest indictment of how ineffective this coaching staff is in controlling their "star" players. IF THEY DON'T PLAY THE WAY YOU TELL THEM - BENCH THEIR A$$ES YOU @#%%#@ PU$$IES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I honestly don't know if the combined IQ of Casey, Lowry and DeRozan is more than 1 Fred VanVleet. He stands out so much on this team just because he's not a complete dumba$$.

that fear has to come from somewhere. when young guys suddenly get scared it's the veterans and the coach that need to keep them locked in. but if your vets are scared and your coach is clued out then maybe as a smart young player you start doubting yourself too.

Thing is, it wasn't juat 29 shots. Getting to the line 18 times means another 9 possessions were taken with him trying to score... so that's 38 total scoring attempts from Demar resulting in 35 points and a complete hijacking of our offense.

I mean, we just spent a whole fuching season NOT doing this and saying "we aren't going to do that again" and yet here we are, doing it again and getting the exact. same. result.

When DeRozan and Ibaka checked back in the 4th, the game was over right then. It’s moments like these that define a franchise; one that is led by a complete idiot of a coach.

I really hope the Wiz take this series. No more moral victories by barely beating an 8th seed.

I really don't think Casey draws up ANY plays that tell DeMar that he HAS to shoot. Even if that's the first option, DeMar has to read the defense.

In football, if the play is to throw to the primary receiver and he's in triple coverage, it's not the coach's fault if the QB throws it anyway and gets picked.

Casey has no idea how to manage an NBA game. Resorted back to his old stubborn ways as a coach, defensive focus with ISO offense. Benching JV in the second half, even with Gortat in the game; and running the offense through Derozan. Shxt was painful af to watch, so frustrating.

For **** sake, this is not Casey fault!

How many turnovers did we have ? How many wide open 3s CJ missed ?

I don’t like Casey but I just don’t **** understand why some people always have to blame someone else instead of looking at the real issue, right in front of them!

OUR D WAS TRASH, OUR EXECUTION IN THE 2nd HALF WAS TRASH ESPECIALLY IN CRUNCH TIME.

My biggest issue was the refs swallowing their whistles in the 2nd half. I hate seeing us get calls in the first half because I just know it's going to happen.

DD turned back the clock on the culture reset. Holy crap. If I wanted to watch isos getting clanked I would watch videos of last year.

I'm tired so tired of getting out hustled. I'm so tired of these guys popping their jerseys and sagging out over little plays. We become mental midgets every single time. Do the same ****. Show some emotion at home other than sticking your thumbs down.

Also, wall is killing us regardless of who is centre. Put jv in the damn game to give the team other looks. Let him get position and slam down their throats. I'm tired of seeing him in the high post though. Their guards are pests and he can't handle the pressure. Adjust the freaking game plan.


lastly. I want to see the next practice set up like the mighty ducks movie. Throw eggs at each other and learn to catch the ball. Why is this team reverting to little ballers level of play when they aren't at home. So upsetting. Hope they can clean it up.

He's too fkin slow, at least Poetl is mobile.

JV only gives you some offense, nothing else.

Tnt commentators were apalled by how bad JV's defense was. It's no surprise that Casey didn't play him much.

Some of you guys really don't understand the complexity of coaching to the point that you try and simplify things for yourself but in reality, it's just proof that you simply don't know what you're talking about.
Always easy to blame the coach - but I'll go with the PROS who have more or less unanimously came out respecting Casey and his staff for their knowledge of the game.
Most of you guys probably wouldn't be able to coach an elementary school team. When you lose, you'd blame the kids just because it's always easier blaming someone else.
