The reverse sweep. Team comes back next year "as ONE FINAL SHOT" and gets embarassed in the playoffs again. Masai steps down and a new GM comes to tank and rebuild. Screen cap this.

DeMar needs to make his FTs and those gimmies at the rim, 10/29 was embarrassing. Casey with the patent slow time outs after letting the Wizards back into the game and CJ looks shook out there on the road, there’s no point of playing him if you are not running plays for him ala JJ Reddick/Ellington screen actions. Poetl kinda redeemed himself and Ibaka has the worst hands I’ve ever seen.

2016 Brooklyn tied 2-2
2015 Swept
2016 Indiana tied 2-2
2016 Miami tied 2-2
2017 Milwaukee tied 2-2

Now we're the first seed with 59 wins and it's the same ****.... why cant we ever go up 3-1 and win a series in less than 6 games.... when are we gonna get our first sweep or win in 5 games

You can't expect to try to score everything yourself, and then in the 4th quarter try to defer to teammates who have barely touched the ball. It's not going to work. Ball movement needs to happen from the jump.

Agreed. Ibaka's 3 with 50 seconds left? The man was ice cold. What happened to all of our good open look 3s we had in game 1 and 2?

Hmm idk what about our "all-star PG"?!

Or how about the second PG we had in there?! Isn't that what PGs do????

I know it's a slight wrinkle to try something other than what's failed repeatedly but it's worth as shot, no?!

Lowry couldn't blow by Gortat in the 4th. Delon for some reason was scared to death of missing a shot or making a bad pass, so he was super passive. Let's run the offense through Serge or CJ then?

Oh so a single possession was enough reason to stop going to those two but DeMar we need a dozen straight, sounds about right.

Cause it's perfectly okay for players to be pussies and not involve themselves in the offense.

It's everyone's fault. If Delon wasn't passing up easy looks he would have prevented DeMar from attempting another stupid ass drive with 4 Wizards around him.

Wizards strategy: Don't let anyone but Derozan shoot.

- Don't worry, Derozan will help.

You think coaches don't have the power to bench players?

The lack of discipline is what leads to things like the Rudy Gay 37 shot game or riding with Bargnani come hell or high water. Oh, but Casey can't do anything about it. Bargnani was supposed to be on the bench?!? lolz..no wayz!

So you bench DD and play who ??? Do we have a secret weapon on the bench ??? Let’s take a look:
CJ ? Trash!
Powell ? Trash!
Bebe? Trash - Wiz were playing small ball
JV ? No - Wiz were playing small ball and JV was slow all game long
Brown ? Ah no.

The whole team was trash! What exactly are you suggesting ? DD still finished with 35 pts, he struggled from the floor but he was in attack mode! I can live with it!
The whole team melted down the stretch and it doesn’t matter what any coach could have done.

This core of DeTrash and Lowrette has always struggled in the playoffs on the road! What does that tell you ? We need better players with better mental toughness that you need in playoffs hostile environment, period.

People. THIS. Is the problem.

Forget blaming Delon. Forget blaming CJ. Or anyone else.

Read the facts.

This was the exact point I was making with my thread that was locked for some reason. This time always reverts back to ISO ball when things get tight which usually more often than not turns into losses. The culture hasn’t changed.

The defence has a lot to do with this. The Wizards are forcing this to happen. If Kyle and Demar don’t take those shots then some other Raptor will be going one on one. Demar has to score with more efficiency. You can’t create ball movement if no defender is helping to open up a pass. Demar has to score when the Wiz don’t send any help. That is on him.

Delon had plenty of opportunities to assert himself THROUGHOUT THE GAME and never did. Lowry had touches and kept deferring to DeMar in the 4th. Again, how is that on Casey?

Delon was shook tonight man. How many open 3s he passed up. Disappointed in him

CJ miles, I’m being honest he cheeses me more than DMC sometimes did. At least with Carroll we knew he was COMPLETE garbage, but CJ has the potential to kill other teams. We know he can do better, so when he off like tonight, it kills me.

That's why I didn't get caught up in net rating, or how good the bench is or the culture reset crap...

Playoff Basketball is a completely different animal and I knew the Raptors would revert back to it
especially on the road.

They still look like the same completely scared and stupid soft pussies they've always looked like on
the road....

A big indicator was they couldn't even get the 60th win in Miami and couldn't contain a scrub like Wayne Ellington

kj_ wrote:Wizards have adjusted exceptionally well. No more traps or doubles on Kyle or Demar. They are staying home on shooters and making Kyle and Demar score. Demar did not do that with efficiency tonight. If that doesn’t change, the Wizards could very well win this series. Wednesday Demar needs to show up. There will be immense pressure on him.

They're switching everything. Kyle and DD have to carry us but they're not. Lowry can't even get by Gortat, it's sad.

I can easily see the Raptors losing this series. they have no answer for wall who is averaging almost 30 points in this series, they're averaging 10 plus turnovers in every game, DeMar is back to his iso ways, Lowry is not scoring enough to compete with what wall and beal are putting up, CJ miles is just way too inconsistent, and JV looks slow and useless again. momentum has swung big time in this series, and the wizards smell blood.

You just admitted several times that the plays we're started with the ball in DeMar's hands, who else's fault would that be?! lol

For anyone interested, I found video on Twitter of Superfan #2 John Kennedy FitzGerald's altercation at the end of the game:

And correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the fan in the red DeRozan jersey is RealGM's own drshanx. If I knew how to tag him, I would. Maybe he can shed some light on this.
