The think perspective can do a lot of good. We limited their role players enough... Wall just went crazy with beal and we made costly turnovers again. You could also make the case that we win that game had Lowry + bench were left in.

Furthermore, consider that the Wizards are truly not an 8th seed and we are not a true 1 seed. This is a more even matchup than what it appears to be on paper, and most people he this game in 6 anyways

Is everyone belabouring the point over how the wizards are a fake #8 seed

A lot of fans and analysts think we're a fake #1 seed and we take offense.

The wiz took our best punch in the 1st qtr and punched us back in the face. They were simply more physical and as ugly as their offense is, took better shots.

It didn't come down to the raptors being cold. This was a game 7 performance according to Lowry.
Remember when’ is the lowest form of conversation.

Demar has paced this team to one of the leagues highest rated offenses the past 5 years. He's a walking one man offensive unit and an elite passer now.

He looked great this year when he was also looking to setup others with his drives. But not tonight, he was in tunnel mode like last year. It's like he lost trust in anyone else.

Once Lowry sits down late in the first and third quarters of every game, DeRozan always goes into me time mode. It's so obvious that it gets frustrating and hard to watch.

I cannot wait for the Casey, DeRozan, Lowry, and Valanciunas era to end.

It happens, don't get too down. Washington is a good team better than a typical 8 seed. Plus they play VERY well at home in the playoffs.
Spurs were 2-2 against the 8th seed in two separate championship years (2003, 2014). Lakers were 2-2 against the 8th seeded Thunder in 2010 when they won the championship. Celtics were 2-2 against the 8th seeded Hawks who were WAY worse than the current Wizards the year they won the title. It's playoff basketball. No one will just lay down.
Seriously I wouldn't even be surprised if the Rockets lose game 4 tomorrow in Minnesota and that series will be 2-2.

Look at it this way. The Wizards killed themselves to win this game at home because they knew they had to, Beal had an amazing game, Porter played his best game, no one on the Raptors was unbelievable, and having said all of that the game was right there for the taking for the Raptors. They just went cold at the worst possible time. Move on to game 5 back at home.

You guys got this.

This guy. Just stop. When Derozan gets traded I hope this poster gets traded to that team. Insufferable

Mans needs to give the team a pep talk like this prior to Game 5.

I'm talking about the central core group that has been here the longest. But Serge can go too, especially that contract.

It’s frustrating. That comment about him being like Neo was NOT funny at all. He doesn’t have the skill-set nor the handles to play with extra bounce or pace. Any time he tries to push the ball up in transition results in an automatic turnover - either a steal or bad pass.

You put DeRozan on the Spurs and he’d be used off curl actions all day or post ups against smaller guards. That’s it.

If they took care off the ball, this series would have been over tonight. At worst, it would be 3-1.

I am still angry at that 3 on 1 where he **** threw a underhand bullet pass with crazy spin to stone hand ibaka at the corner.

It continues to boggle the mind that we go over screens on Wall, who is a garbage shooter who will shoot his garbage 8th seeded team into losses and endless mediocrity.

Whenever we have bigs like Siakam on him he does nothing because they don't play him for the shot. But all of our guards are instructed to guard him in the dumbest ways.

4 ******* games and no simple adjustment to this obvious, obvious flaw.

I thought handing over the offense to Nurse would be enough to shelter us from Casey's coaching. But there is no escape.

We should still have this series in 6, but forget the finals. If it isn't Lebron, it'll be Simmonds if we can't gameplan for someone as simple as Wall. The team is good enough. I think it truly is. We don't have the coaching to get there.

That was basically the game.

JV has never been treated as a central core member. But he has had:

- the best statistical season with the least minutes.-
- Most efficient offensive player on the team.
- Best rebounder (by far).
- the best 3 pt shooter on the team.

He's under used and the youngest player with longest tenure. He's the anti Derozan minus defence. Deserve a chance to be a core member before trading him.

we went into heroball mode and ended up shooting 38%, the Wizards scored more in their losses. we s*** the bed on offence, thats what happens when one guy takes 30 shots in a game....... how the hell is anyone else supposed to get any rhythm?
