Everyone is saying that Beal's 6th foul was bull but he stuck his leg out, it was the right call.

I predicted great defense from OG and solid team defense overall. I was right... in the first half :/

Bosh leaving helped DeMar but it also hurt his game. once bosh left and brags officially became a flop DeMar basically felt he needed to develop a selfish style of basketball in order to be successful, he developed this me, me, me style of game and you're just not going to be successful in the playoff' playing that style of basketball. Whats even worse is lowry came along with the same mentality, he was an older player that Houston let go because of the same me-first mentality smh both these guys together is just a bad combination.

This is the playoffs, Washington is a hard place to win give them some credit, they have way to much talent to be swept. I felt the Raptors got cocky after being up 2-0, Demar and Lowry joking around then got spanked the next two games. Lets hope they watch some film and really clean up those turn overs. Demar scored 35 but he really missed a lot of shots he normally would make. He really needs to learn when to shoot and when to pass, it seems like he can only set his mind to one or the other. Delon passed up on a bunch of open 3s, we need Steady Freddy Back i feel his composure could really help close out games when everyone else is shaky.

This wouldn't even be a talking point if DeMar took him in the post 3 plays before that play and post him up smh instead he was taking long 2's while beal was guarding him with 5 fouls.

Whenever we have bigs like Siakam on him he does nothing because they don't play him for the shot. But all of our guards are instructed to guard him in the dumbest ways.

4 ******* games and no simple adjustment to this obvious, obvious flaw.

I thought handing over the offense to Nurse would be enough to shelter us from Casey's coaching. But there is no escape.

We should still have this series in 6, but forget the finals. If it isn't Lebron, it'll be Simmonds if we can't gameplan for someone as simple as Wall. The team is good enough. I think it truly is. We don't have the coaching to get there.

Sometimes they do go under but Gortat pulls a moving screen and for some reason gets away with it all the time.

Those are perfect examples to illustrate a simple adjustment (regardless of the Gortat moving screen).

You go under, and you eliminate the roll man, and keep Wall around 18 feet for his jumpers, which is what any team wants him to take, as he's awful at volume with them.

You go over, and Wall chose to settle there, but he has options to drive at the big. And the settle jumper was closer: foul line shot.

The big risk you face with the under strategy is Wall getting hot from 3. It's the same risk that the Wiz are taking with DeRozan. The difference is that the Wiz chose to do this from the start of the series, playing the odds that he'd be less effective. Meanwhile we're four games in and have not committed to a similar strategy.

Masai’s biggest mistake was not siging someone on the buyout market, heck Ty Lawson from China is giving more meaningful minutes than Lorenzo Brown. Hell Sonny Weems would be an upgrade over Norman and Lorenzo. We have no other consistent scoring threat after FVV injury. Everyone is so inconsistent.

Come on now it's not as if the starting lineup with OG and JV has the best NetRTG (+12.1) by far of all our lineups or anything.

OG is a rookie and doesn't deserve playing time seeing as though he's doing nothing on defense or offense and playing with zero composure out there.

But Casey sure loves his defense no matter if Poeltl and Siakam give you nothing on O. At least it will make it harder for Wizards to score but twice as hard for us. Add in some Demar bricks and it's a guaranteed win!
OG i can understand playing more, JV was trash last night to, Demar, Lowry, JV, serge in the 2nd half, Pascal on offense and Miles, WERE ALL GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TRASH!!!! all of them.

problem imo started with Wright and Ibaka passing up open 3s down the stretch. that forced Demar into ISO ball.

tbh, I would have put OG in at the end instead. You lose ballhandling but you get someone who is fearless taking the 3, aggressive cutting when the ballhandler is in trouble, and can stop Wall.

LOLOL Lowry takes like 10 shots a game, Demar averages 5 apg and a whole bunch of hockey assists as well that don't show up on the stat sheet. They are the definition of unselfish.

How do you blame DeMar? It was literally just pass it to Will offense at times. He converts 5 or 6 out of the 19 missed then we win and some will be crowning him the MVP.

It's the supporting cast that needs to learn in my opinion.

NBA will always want raptors series to be close. Hell they didnt want to give beal that 6th foul for like 5 mins.

On the raptors end, they need to control the turnovers.

Raps fans, you know what to do.

This was a game there for the taking. But like idiots we gave it away. Lots of wasted opportunities and careless turnovers. You cannot do that sht in the playoffs.

If the fouls on Yak and Jonas were legit, then so was the call on Beal. They finally decided to give us one of the borderline cheap calls, but it was a game changer in the lat 4Q and it caused them to bury their whistles after that.

Gortat should have fouled out in the 1st half with all those moving screens and holding on our bigs.

I do think he's getting a little too much heat for his play late in the game. The Wiz aren't loading up on him as much, instead opting to defend him one on one and stay home on our other guys, and it's working quite well. So, one, there weren't a lot of passing lanes open, and two, when the ball was in other guys' hands they looked very reticent. Delon was timid, even Lowry was passing up open 3s - so Demar kinda had to force his game. He does deserve flack for his overall performance though. He missed a ton of bunnies, and made horrible decisions with the ball most of the night.

That sure was a Kobe-esque game from DeMar scoring wise.

Felt like nobody on the team had any rhythm on offense.

We also didn't take nearly enough 3PA.
