5th straight year of having home court in first round and struggling. Less about panic more about deju vu lol

I'm still mad at this loss. Totally BS officiating + horrific performances...

I figured his is how the series would go - next step is to control homecourt and then we’ll see what happens in game 6.

That's true but it still hurts and after going 2-0 with lowry and dd not playing great it felt like raps would get atleast 1 win on the road

I mean the Wizards record is just solid at home in the postseason and you can see the weapons they have.

I was mainly concerned that they would get dominated. It was a bit less tight than I would have hoped, but it bodes we’ll for a good recovery in then next game.

I know you're talking about the wiz, was still hoping for a split, and raps could have easily done that last night.

Derozan shot 18 fts, majority from questionable touch fouls.

Yes that invalidates all the non-call moving screens, silly fouls on Poeltl and JV. It was bad all around. If you think the whistle was favouring us you are just biased.

We should already expect that the refs will be against us..the fact that we couldn't capitalize during crunch time and resorted to our old ways means that Casey+Derozan hasn't learned anything from the past which is disappointing.

Nah DeMar is the biggest fraud MVP candidate I've seen in a long time.

It's a lazy nomination that uninformed media make because they look at a near 60W team n see that DeMar is the highest scorer on the team. Every metric/analytics that actually measures the positive impact of a player will favor Fred.

So by your logic, FVV would make a better 1st option over Demar?

Better question...

Is that what I said or you're making that up because you don't have anything to refute what I actually said?!

You truly believe the only reason Demar has been in the conversation for MVP rankings is because he has the highest PPG on the Raptors? And media guys are clueless about him otherwise?

Wow, Raptors fans really do believe they are screwed by the refs in every game. This was a pretty evenly officiated game where the refs made questionable calls against both teams.

Err, so you are just repeating what I said it was bad all around? You brought up DeRozan having 18 FTA for what reason exactly? “BBBBut what about DeRozan???” And evenly officiated? Lol just go back to the wiz board.

Welp, you're right. Sorry about that.. I thought you were insinuating that the refs were favoring the Wizards. I guess I skipped over the it was bad all around sentence.

My thoughts are why didn’t Casey call a time out and speak if not yell at DeRozan to start moving the ball and less one on one. Why didn’t he emphasis this...Derozan came out like he wasn’t spoken to. I just don’t understand..

Raptors are screwed by refs every game, they would probably never lose if it wasn't for the refs imo.

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

No worries. For the record I rarely blame the refs for losses. We played bad but the frustrating officiating didn't help.

Win or lose this series, it's time for a big change to this roster. This team will never learn. We play good during the season but then when it counts we go back to our losing brand of ball. We cannot have this same team going into next season. Getting embarrassed in the playoffs yet again.

I love this 'wizards are a good home playoff team' narrative.

Based on that, I'm pretty sure our raptors home record makes us a bad playoff home team, and a terrible playoff team in general
