That last tweet won't age well when those obstruction of justice charges include the firing of James Comey because he wouldn't drop the Russia investigation.

Is the Pee Tape Real? Comey's Book Brings Us One Step Closer to an Answer
Leaked copies of 'A Higher Loyalty' hint that President Trump was obsessed with the "golden shower" rumor

Image

President Trump reportedly considered asking the FBI to investigate the "golden shower" allegations – rumors that Trump had allegedly paid Russian prostitutes to pee on a bed once used by President Barack Obama and the First Lady – early in 2017, according to early reporting on A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership, the upcoming memoir from former FBI Director James Comey.

Multiple media outlets - including The Washington Post, The New York Times and the New York Post - received advance copies of the book and began rolling out their stories late Thursday afternoon. According to reports, Comey writes that Trump brought up the infamous "pee tape" without prompting during a meeting not long after the President was sworn into office. Comey recalls that Trump "strongly denied the allegations, asking – rhetorically, I assumed – whether he seemed like a guy who needed the service of prostitutes."

The only things that will tide me over until the start of the new season:

NBA Draft Lottery
NBA Draft
End of Free Agent Moratorium
Daily/weekly trickle of more Mueller indictments / Trump buffoonery

^^^trust me, I nearly had tears coming out of my eyes laughing at the news that Cohen's recordings ended up getting taken in by the Feds. There are probably a lot of people, not just the Orange Ragetweeter, who are pissing their pants in fear right now.

Confirmation of the trip would lend credence to a retired British spy’s report that Cohen strategized there with a powerful Kremlin figure about Russian meddling in the U.S. election.

It would also be one of the most significant developments thus far in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of whether the Trump campaign and the Kremlin worked together to help Trump win the White House. Undercutting Trump’s repeated pronouncements that “there is no evidence of collusion,” it also could ratchet up the stakes if the president tries, as he has intimated he might for months, to order Mueller’s firing.

jesus.

this guy might as well start snitching now and save his own ass. he's being hammered by both Mueller's team, NY's FBI branch and I would wager New York State's AG is about to come with the haymaker so Trump can't pardon him.

Makes sense why he has been ranting about Cohen being raided. He's scared.

If any criminal activity between Cohen and Hannity gets uncovered with what was taken in the raids, good luck to him. Play time is over.

So after the House GOP pressured Rosenstein to turn over the Comey memos to them, someone quickly leaked them (probably Devin Nunes) to the associated press last night. I'm not sure at this point if they a) even read the memos before leaking them or b) are trying to screw Trump because none of the stuff written in those memos exonerate him or paint a flattering picture. In one of the excerpts the dude advocates having journalists locked up and raped in prison. constant talk about Russia, and Russian hookers. in one of the memos it appears that his former chief of staff blatantly attempts to obstruct justice. they also paint an overall picture of someone who has consciousness of guilt.

edit: holy **** :o

If the redacted answer to the question of whether or not Michael Flynn (who has already flipped) was under a FISA warrant from James Comey was "yes", then     why would you even release something like this??

that means that everyone who spoke to Flynn on the phone during that time period got caught on a wiretap. :onfire: :onfire: :onfire: :onfire: :onfire:

What the public knows, and what the feds and Mueller know and the evidence they have are on two different planes of existence at this point. I'd be scared to death if I was one of these people.

Mike Flynn's son, who continues to talk **** on twitter to the detriment of his father (who pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI in exchange for cooperation with Mueller's investigation/mercy for him and his son) just put Mike Pence into the fry cooker.

Read on Twitter

So just to be clear, what Flynn Jr. is alleging is that his dad never lied to Vice President Mike Pence (or anyone else!) about his interactions with then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak.

That runs directly counter to Pence's version of events. Pence said Flynn did not tell the truth when the two talked about interactions with Kisylak. "I was disappointed to learn that ... the facts that had been conveyed to me by Gen. Flynn were inaccurate," Pence said a week after Flynn's firing.

That tweet also contradicts the explanation offered by Trump for firing Flynn in the first place.

"I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI," Trump said via Twitter in December 2017. "He has pled guilty to those lies. It is a shame because his actions during the transition were lawful. There was nothing to hide!" (It was later revealed that Trump attorney John Dowd wrote the actual tweet.)

And it complicates -- and seemingly contradicts -- the fact that Flynn himself pleaded guilty last year to lying to the FBI about the nature and depth of his interactions with Kislyak during the presidential transition process.
"I recognize that the actions I acknowledged in court today were wrong, and, through my faith in God, I am working to set things right," Flynn said in a statement after his December 2017 plea. "My guilty plea and agreement to cooperate with the Special Counsel's Office reflects a decision I made in the best interests of my family and of our country. I accept full responsibility for my actions."

So...

Flynn Jr. is now saying his father never lied to Pence about his interactions with Kisylak. Which, if he is telling the truth, would mean:

Pence, who has said he had no knowledge of the conversations Flynn was having with Kisylak and other Russian officials, actually did know.

Trump's reason for firing Flynn doesn't hold water since the former national security adviser didn't lie to Pence.
Flynn chose to lie to the FBI about his dealings with the Russians during the transition but told the truth to the incoming vice president about those same interactions.

It's that third point that makes Flynn Jr.'s tweet about his father's veracity questionable. Why would Flynn tell Pence the truth but then lie to the FBI? The former might be a fireable offense but the latter is a crime. What would make him purposely do that?

Keep in mind, while reading this, that Pence was the preferred VP pick from Paul Manafort.

I mean...do these idiots realize that Mueller's team has probably someone on twitter collecting anything that could be incriminating?

He's jumped himself jumping a shark. He must be really confident that his listeners will stick by him no matter what and is trying to enter a new market. I can't say I blame him for thinking that. Kanye's musical direction pretty much left me with Yeezus (and that was already after a close call with me on 808s, but I thought he corrected himself with MBDTF) and he's only gotten more popular with Yeezus and The Life Of Pablo.

I liked 808s, it was different but some of those songs on there are dope. I actually liked him trying to experiment and make stuff outside of the box. MBDTF was the last album of his I enjoyed, after that I stopped listening to him.

If minority fans stick with him after all of this (i mean he's letting that dude flash a white power hand symbol in front of his face FFS), either the music will have to be insanely good or his fans are just really those "i can separate the artist from the art" types. I stopped listening to him years ago (and hip hop in general out of boredom) so I really don't care. I just find his shameless tap dancing and descent into lunacy to be hilarious. Others clearly do not, and I don't blame them one bit. Kanye is basically in a place where he feels as if he wealth insulates him from the racism that has been stoked by his "brother" Donald Trump. It's obvious in these weird tweets as of late, saying things that blatantly contradict who he was years ago and not in a good way either. I predict he'll get a reminder that regardless of his money, he's still a black man sooner than later.

This is the same dude who threw temper tantrums accusing the sneaker industry of racism as he kept meeting roadblocks on the way to building up his sneaker brand. Now, he's hobnobbing with racists and kissing their asses.

808s came around the time Tha Carter III came out and I felt like EVERYONE was trying autotune, which I was just not a fan of (I still don't like Lil Wayne). I was in my second year of college and I was still enjoying Graduation and The Cool and then all of a sudden, autotune ruined everything for me. I never bought into the craze and everyone thought it was the greatest thing ever and I was turned off when it was being blasted at parties and clubs that I started attending those less every week. For Kanye specifically though, I gave him a pass after giving three classic albums and wanting to experiment a little after his mother's passing and he came back with MBDTF.

I'm like you though. I hardly listen to any new music these days and not even just hip-hop. Once in a while, my friends will send me something I actually like. Once in a while, I'll be checking e-mail with a talk show in the background and something will catch my ear. It's how I found Emeli Sande like 5 years ago when she was on Graham Norton and Disturbed's cover of "The Sounds Of Silence" on Conan a few years back. I'm basically Brian Griffin when it comes to new music now:

Rap is going down hill.. This new mumble rap is what's killing rap itself. I stopped listening to it for a few years now. There are a couple songs here and there but not great. Like there are 3 good rappers at the top right now and that's Kendrick, Kanye, and J. Cole. But even J. Cole is not that good in comparison to the rappers before.
