I know that, but I didn't want to have to explain ETO too.

Westbrook isn't getting traded. That's out the window. Even if I do support it. The reality is that we are going to have a garbage roster next season. The irony is that it will likely be more fun to watch. Especially if we get a new coach, and don't just promote Mo Cheeks.

I like the task of trying to explain things to the lowest common denominator.

What makes you think they will bring in a new coach? Presti can easily give Donovan a pass by blaming the failures on Roberson's injury and Melo's rapid decline both of which were out of Donovan's control. I expect Donovan to be safe as long as Presti isn't fired.

Scott Brooks was fired for less. You could be right. I really hope you're not.

Scott brooks didn’t take summer rendezvous in Florida with Presti.

Team was a walking mash unit. I was at the game we had 6 healthy players, and Sebastian Telfair played 48 minutes.

I lost all hope the day Presti traded for PG. I got a little back when Kanter got booted, but that faded quickly when they had Patterson bulk up so he could be slower and less athletic to be a backup center. I can't give something I don't have. I have no faith in Donovan and have lost all I used to have in Presti. On the bright side, Russ will probably carry Donovan and a crappy roster to the 8 seed and 4-5 playoff games again next year.

The lack of rebounding is making me okay with it.

It'll never happen but it would be funny if it did.. he seems over the top loyal to OKC

It very well could. He's still close to the organization. We'll see if he's loyal enough to take a massive paycut.

 at the guy looking for the most money at every point taking a paycut. Kanter already told people he's out there looking to get paid.

S&T PG for Kanter! Then give Kanter a 5 year max after next season! Russ, Melo, Adams and Kanter are your big 4!! I'd love to see Felton, Abrines, Melo and Kanter out there together on defense.

I'm okay with this. The team will suck but be full of guys I actually like (outside of Melo), that's a lot better than being just mediocre enough for me to hate them all.

That's probably why he won't opt out but I have a follow up question to your question. I'm a knick and Melo fan but couldn't really watch him in OKC much. Obviously it didn't work out as planned.

In NY his critics felt he obviously had the talent but was selfish, evil, and a whole slew of other issues dealing with his character. But again, he was talented. Was that the issue in OKC or is he just plain washed up? This isn't bait, I really wanna know from OKC fans perspective.

He looked washed, but we have no way of really knowing, since we have Billy Dumbo coaching. I could see him going to a team with a better and still making an impact.

Return to Oklahoma City Thunder
