Oh come on guys..leave them alone..I know we just came from an ECF trip last year, so it may not be as big to us..but it doesn't happen very often over there. If Toronto can hang division title banners I see nothing wrong with Philly celebrating a first round win like a title.

Just focused on the Bucks and rightfully so but it’s no damn LeBron James in the past we would be playing.

We definitely have a shot, but they have a TON of shooters, which is actually the toughest part about defending Philly. Gonna be tough on our defense.

I prefer having to stop shooters like Redick, Beli, Saric, Covington over having to stop guys who will put your ass in a blender in a variety of ways like Parker, Brogdon, Middleton, Giannis..guys who shoot it if you give space or run it by you if you challenge..there isn't a single player on that Philly roster that can do to us what Middleton is doing shooting the ball or what Jabari has done in a few moments of this series.

I personally think a Smart, Rozier, Brown, Tatum/Morris, Horford line up would cause all sorts of hell for those guys. Miami had no combination with as much speed, power, athletic ability, shooting and defensive versatility as that..nothing even close. Hopefully we get a chance to see it happen.

Sixers are young but you have to tip your hat to their GM. If you have a great Center you want to surround him with shooters. If you have a Freak playmaker like Lebron you do the same. Philly has both in Embiid and Simmons and they went out and added Reddick, Ilyasova and Bellinelli who along with Saric make a formidable group. Orlando gave Boston and Cleveland a hard time in 2008-2012 with a similar formula and I think Simmons and Embiid bring so much more to the table than Howard and Turkoglu. We will be underdogs if we get past Bucks given Kyrie is out. Hopefully experience and Brad can overcome cockiness and youth.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

I give Hinkie more credit for getting Embiid, Fultz, Saric and Simmons. When you get guys like that the rest comes easy.

I'm cool with them being favorites if we meet up..they are red hot right now. But Boston isn't Miami. Hell..Milwaukee isn't Miami. Miami was easily the weakest team in the playoffs without question. There's a reason everybody wanted to play those guys. There's a bigg difference in playing Justise Winslow, James Johnson and Kelly Olynyk over Tatum, Brown and Horford. Miami doesn't have that level of offensive talent.

Brown deserves that tbf. He coached the team when they were absolutely pathetic and management were in full tank mode. It’s cool to see his patience rewarded.

Adding those 2 shooters late made a middle of the pack team a very scary team late in the season. Will be interesting if they can sign them both and have cap space for a max deal this offseason.

How much should I bet?
$1K gets me $15K?

Keep in mind that Curry might be back for Game 1 now.

Is that for real? I thought more like game 3?

I too wanna throw a little $ on it. I don't have a lot of blow $ so i'll prob put like $50 on it. Just cause I'm gonna be rooting for them so might as well.

Ex idk your $ situation, but even if you got it like that, i'd prob still wouldn't throw a grand on them lol. GSW is still a real hard favorite. & For a team that plays much diff then Port, NO's def might not be as good?

I'm saying GSW in 6 as Curry comes back game 3. Split the first 2, second 2 & GSW takes it home. But NO is really balling. Can't put team belief in analytics.

Happy to see the "do all right & no one can say anything bad about them." Spurs season end.

Gave out terrible deals to their own players. Handled the Leonard & Gay (no one again talks about this) injuries terribly.

Pop is the GOAT coach. Much love to him.

They coulda had this same season, cept keeping the books clear for a monster 2018 summer. But cause they had 1 good half against a GSW team that was off for a week, they bring it all back. So dumb & shortsighted. Now they're in this helluva quandary.

Interesting to see wtf they do this summer.

Naw it's just the commaradery we've built during the year. We ring the bell each game we win for the player that stood out. When they have a big accomplishment they get doused with water on court, or in the locker room. It's representative of the culture that the sixers are building. Not sure what's lame about it. Not every team can have players that hate each other like John Wall and Bradley Beal...

Maybe one day you will build enough commaradery to hang a division banner.

Yeah but the thing is, it's not just about stopping the shooters. What makes Philly dangerous is its floor spacing, which gives guys like Embiid and Simmons room to operate. The Bucks don't have that.

Yeah they were saying yesterday he might be back as soon as Game 1 now. Will it happen? Probably not. Probably just gamesmanship on Golden State's part.

What bothers me about New Orleans is its lack of depth. It's basically the starting lineup and then a bunch of bums. That won't be enough against the Warriors.

So, question for everyone here: on a scale of 1-10, how big is tonight's game for Russell Westbrook's legacy? To me, it's hard to think of a bigger game for a superstar since LeBron's Game 6 against us in 2012. If Westbrook loses this series in five games, especially with the way he has been playing, he is going to get torn to shreds.
