The McClatchy story is based on unnamed sources. And at this point, I have no faith in unnamed sources discussing the Trump/Russia collusion. They have been wrong too many times. I will cede that if it is indeed true that Michael Cohen was indeed in Prague and he lied about it, it would raise a lot of red flags. I'm just not prepared to believe the story yet.

Your so called proof backing the golden shower allegation is very thin and circumstantial. It is not surprising to me that Trump's bodyguard, who was being paid $165,000 a year when working for Trump, got a gig with the RNC for $180,000 a year after Trump no longer needed him. That's not proof of anything shady whatsoever.

And the fact that Trump has sex with porn stars leads me to believe he didn't do anything with Russian prostitutes because he doesn't need to pay for it.

Finally, we can see that Trump is immune to shame, so the fact that there were some number of encounters with beautiful women doesn't seem like it would be much leverage to blackmail Trump.

Fair point on the McClatchy story, but i'll hedge my bet that they have good sourcing there.

Steele knew that Trump was at a minimum, offered prostitutes, this is verified by Trumps own bodyguard. This part of the dossier is confirmed. Do you really believe his bodyguard that Trump turned-down beautiful Russian prostitutes? I don't. Also, why do you assume that he would have had to pay for their services? My understanding is that is was a "gift", he was after all having his beauty pageant there.

The entirety of its argument rests on how laughably unverified the Steele dossier was. All it would take is a couple of Russian operatives to have fed Steele disinformation. You don't wiretap a Presidential candidate based on the word of a couple of Russian "informants".

Nate, you have falsely asserted repeatedly that the Steele dossier is unverified, this is not accurate. Parts of the dossier have indeed been verified. Among the verified dossier claims:

The Kremlin targeted educated youth and swing-state voters during its cyberattacks: verified. This has been proven by congressional investigations into Russia's misinformation campaigns.

Trump campaign adviser Carter Page met with representatives of Russian state-owned oil giant Rosneft: verified. The House intelligence committee released a transcript of Page's testimony revealing he did meet with Rosneft officials during a trip to Moscow in 2016.

Among the dossier claims that are unverified but look money now:

Alleged Cohen Prague trip

It was alleged that Trumps "Fixer" Michael Cohen went to Prague in August 2016 to meet with Russians to clean-up loose ends on Trump/Russia collusion. This allegation was made long before Cohen's role as "fixer" became widely known.
In any case. Cohen swore up and down that he had never been to Prague and filed a law suit against Vox puffing his chest out.

1. Cohen dropped the suit (Vox would have had discovery)
2. Mueller allegedly has information the Cohen was indeed in Prague, therefore moving another Dossier claim into the likely verified category.

Go-through the entire list of dossier allegations and compare them to what we know now. The dossier is looking more and more credible, who knows how-many more of the allegations Mueller has been able to verify behind the scenes.

He's not immune to shame otherwise he would have just admitted it. In case you've forgotten, Trump hasn't admitted and flat out denied he had any sexual romps. Glad to see even you can accept he's a lying POS. He seems pretty darn concerned about people knowing the truth so yes, he can be blackmailed. And if you've actually been following the story, you'd know that's the least of his concerns in regards to what Russia might have.

He doesn't need to pay for it? Oh that's right. Michael Cohen's been paying for it because he's such a nice guy.

Wrong. Every damn one of you has panned your entire hopes to a 100% uncorroborated dossier. At the time the Obama DOJ use thatdossier evidence now shows that none of itWas verified by American intelligence. None of it at all.
So it was completely and entirely foreign collected intelligence on a political opposition. That’s laughable. And people are gonna get in trouble for this.
