It would be tough to find anything more irrelevant than this. Means less than zero.

Exactly.

He should have just used the Celtics record since Kyrie went out since that is the caliber of team the Sixers would be facing: 11-8

Sixers last 19: 18-1

Even with Kyrie the Celts get beat. Sixers have progressed. In the beginning of the season we were a bubble team. Now we're legit contenders.

Looks like some people didn't learn anything from last year when miami and wizards were on fire in the second half of the RS.

I will say Redick has really upped his game in this playoffs. He is pretty much their top scorer right now isn’t he?

Arguably- Simmons/Reddick/Belinelli/Saric/Embiid were all averaging between 18-20 ppg going into last night's game. Reddick is a very good scorer but doesn't offer much in the way of defense or play making.

Just like my wife, Redick is a D, not a DD.

Miami and the Wizards dont have anything close to Simmons and Embiid.
The 2nd and 3rd best players in the Eastern Conference already.

Enjoy your team, man. Don't care in the least about them or my own team in this playoffs.

Let's calm the **** down on Hayward okay. He played all of 5 minutes before a season-ending injury. You have no idea how he would fit with the celtics. You also have a huge dilemma now with Jaylen Brown and Tatum playing well enough to start next year. Who is going to come off the bench? Hayward is also not a superstar. He's an allstar on occasion, and not at the level of Kyrie Irving. He's a little better than Dario Saric at the moment. Kyrie Irving is the only known quantity that you are lacking on this team right now. Just like how you guys tell us to stop getting ahead of ourselves with the Sixers, you need to stop getting ahead of yourselves with Hayward, and what he could be. You guys have some questions to answer this offseason and next year. What happens to Rozier? Smart? What are you guys going to do about Tatum/Brown/Hayward (I guarantee you that Ainge will need to trade one of them). What are you going to do about an aging Horford who doesn't fit the timeline of the rest of your players?

Let's not forget the biggest elephant in the room. Kyrie Irving's health? Will he be the same player when he's back. Having all these surgeries on his knee looks a lot like a degenerative condition. But yeah, keep telling yourself that Danny Ainge will save you, and will pull some lopsided trade out of his ass. How's that worked out so far? Obviously not his fault, but the way you guys act so condescendingly when you get threatened by another team's success, and bring your past history of success as a measuring point, is inherently flawed.

Sixers fans are on fire man, I can't even imagine what they would say if they were real contenders. Hayward a bit better than saric, that one killed me. Of course Lord covington is clearly better than brown and tatum too.

Saric is a better rebounder, a better 3 point shooter, and and underated passer. Hayward is a borderline allstar, who was the only offensive weapon on a Jazz team. Dario would average similar numbers to Hayward if he was the lone star. See last year when he averaged close to 19 ppg when Embiid went down.

To be fair, we can also ask exactly the same questions to sixer fans. What happens when you sign a max FA and Embiid, Simmons or even Fultz (?) ask for a max contract. Embiid's injury concerns, etc.

*If the Celtics get past the Bucks*

This current incarnation of the Celtics will most likely be the least talented playoff roster we roll out for a very long time. We probably won't beat Philly this time around, oh well. The future is so bright for us it doesn't even matter.

That is a good question, that we'll have to see about. LeBron might defer, but there are inherent risks with signing him. Paul George might be a better fit, but can you say no to the King?

The Sixers capspace is designed well enough that we should be able to have 3 stars on Max's....

Embiid's injury concerns aren't much of an issue anymore. His knee has been fine this year, and his foot hasn't been an issue for 2 years. IF he's injury free for one year I believe he should go back to the same risk of a player with normal wear and tear.

That's two problems the Sixers have. The Celtics have a few more than that man...

Not sure to be honest... Milwaukee would be easier with home court, but the Celtics are a better test for us, and I think we grew immensely against the Heat.
