I went back and watched the replay of the Oladipo drive about 20 times (I'm weird like that). Here are my thoughts:

-Bogey was wide open on the wing. Easy to say after the fact, but man it would have been nice for him to kick it out. If Bogey misses, there wouldn't be enough time for the Cavs to get a shot off like they did.

-The reason Vic didn't pass is because he got past Lebron. Once he got past him, Lebron grabbed his arm which slowed Vic down just enough for Lebron to have time to come in for the block. (See attached image)

-Goaltending.. not much else to say with that one- the ball was on the backboard before it was touched.

-Once Lebron got the rebound, he dribbled it before grabbing it for good. Doesn't that stop the timeout advance up the court? I am not 100% clear on that rule, but just something that crossed my mind.

Lastly, the Pacers had a foul to give and probably should have wrapped up Lebron as soon as he grabbed the ball on the in-bound. It would have taken a second or so off the clock which would have made the play a little harder.

That's enough of a rant from me. Just frustrating and disappointing for sure. Pacers have lost 3 very winnable games. Hopefully they can find a way to win game 6 and put the pressure back on the Cavs.

Yes! Thank you!

I said as soon as I saw the replay, Victor was fouled. LeBron also goaltended.

Unfortunately, I don't think that one play would have had an effect on the outcome. LeBron hit a great shot at the buzzer. We would have lost by 1 instead of 3.

I am hoping someone here can clear up another rule for me. Say the refs called it a goaltend like they should have.. I believe that makes it a dead ball and they can't advance it from the timeout. Is that correct? That would mean they would have been down 2 with 3 seconds to go and have to go the length of the court.

If they were still able to advance it, it would have been a completely different situation. The Pacers doubled Kevin Love in the post, which wouldn't have happened. They would have guarded harder against the 3 and made the Cavs drive. They also could have used their foul to give to make it harder for them to get it to OT. The mindset that Lebron had with that shot was that if he missed it, they still had OT. I just think it could have changed the outcome big time...

Entirely different to shoot a three-pointer when the game is tied verses when you are down two points. No pressure verse all the pressure. Everyone assuming he'd hit the shot in both cases isn't factoring in human emotion.

Blatant blown call on the drive by Victor, it was at the least a foul and and should have been goal tending and a foul game over.

It's hard to play 5 on 8 in any level of basketball, when the refs are biased and the out come is determined ahead of time. There is no way the Crooked NBA wants LBJ out in round one.

The NBA is crooked from the refs to the Lottery. How do you explain Patrick Ewing going to the Knicks (biggest NBA market), Derrick Rose to Chicago (Rose is from Chicago), Lebron James to Cleveland (James from the Cleveland area), the Lakers getting the 2nd pick last year when Lonzo Ball was there for them.

Just few very strange things about the NBA. We need a total clean out of the NBA leadership and accountability for this crooked rotten refs.

I'm so ticked off I don't even want to watch this crap anymore. I want to sue the NBA for giving me Tourette Syndrome. Not only am I now disabled from not being able to stop the stream of profanities that comes out of my mouth but I have a massive facial tick to go along with it! And I'm prone to violent outbursts as I attacked my sofa last night trying to stab it to death with a banana! But the I realized it was not alive in the first place.

The officiating certainly did not favour the Pacers, to put it very very mildly

To be fair however, the series would be over by now had the Pacers not played like idiots like 50% of the time

For example, Vic seems to every now and then completely forget how to make a proper pass; no I'm not singling him out for blame, just saying that if I punched the wall every time the Pacers made a dumb/bad pass, I'd have no wall left by now

So yes, while the officiating was certainly not helpful, Pacers could have wrapped up this series by now if they had just sucked less, at times

OMG, that's it? That's the extent of your indignation over that egregious non-call? On the Jazz forum there would have been a twelve page dedicated thread lambasting the officials. How can a play like that not be reviewed in the NBA? I feel bad that we blew a 25 point lead in game five but worse for you guys, cause you got bent over and reamed. Changes the whole complexion of the final three seconds and most probably the outcome as well. Really hope you can somehow recover and win this series.
