I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Love Jaire. He brings speed, instincts and SWAGGER to the outside for us. My #2 ranked corner for us, great fit.

That was some Belichick level first round tap dancing by Gute. If that was their guy the whole time, then us getting the Saints first along the way was next level. Jaire Alexander is a pick I can still get behind.

Combine stud. I liked Jackson better, but I am gonna trust their evaluation and hope for the best. If this works out well and we get our CB stud and also picked up a first round pick next year, it's brilliant.

If James turns into a stud I am going to cry, though.

Love the pick. This is a guy that was flying up charts the closer the draft came. They got the guy they wanted. Picked up another first in 2019. Only gave up a 3rd. I take this 7 days a week now that it's played out.

I am just glad we didn't take him at 14. If this is the guy they wanted after Denzel (and possibly Minkah) then I am glad they got a future first out of it all.

Yeah, that swagger in the secondary can not be underestimated. I mean, this kid dominanced in 2016. Arguably, he's a higher rated prospect than Ward if he's fully healthy in 2017. We nab a 1st in 2019 and another 5th and give up a 3rd? That's pretty damn good, Gutey.

Alexander is the better fit by a longshot. Jackson is a cover 2 ballhawk, Alexander is a step for step, lockdown, anti-deep ball corner that has unrivaled confidence.

Awesome pick. After the news came out about the first pick trade it started to make sense. Gute is playing chess

Like the pick. Derwin James was the safe pick but if gute and pettine wanted Jaire they did some great moving to make it happen. Only concern is Jaire s injuries. High upside.

Isn't he small? Wasn't the Ron Wolf rule 5'11" and up for CBs?

Gute literally could have only saved his ass with me if we moved up for Alexander or Landry. He's lucky. :D

King/Jaire is a nice tandem.

It's not as if we didn't have a massive need at corner and this kid has tons of talent.

Gotta hope Jones can play well at safety after passing on James.
