Get one of Philly's 2nd rounders (#38 or #39) and draft Landry Shamet. Do it.

Ayton is a physical marvel, incredibly coordinated, highly skilled, and has absolutely no feel for the game, no ability to anticipate anything on either end. I think he's going to have a lot of trouble against guys that he can't physically overwhelm, but frankly, he's going to be able to physically overwhelm a lot of guys. Should be interesting to see how he turns out.
Personally, I take Doncic without question.

hypothetically speaking, if the Bucks get Buds as coach, anyone willing to give up 17/Snell for Bazemore?

It's perfectly fine to prefer Doncic (even though I disagree), but I'm just telling you guys that there's no way Ayton isn't going #1 overall, and I don't think it's been much of a question since December. He's a better prospect than Towns was coming out, at least IMO.

I think it's going to depend on whether the team picking #1 wants a C who can't pass out of double teams or rotate defensively.

2 years for a productive player for $36M or 3 years of nothing for $34M.

Ayton has a very Dwight-ish vibe to him, except he can’t set a screen or play defense, so...*shrugs* does that make him Andre Drummond?

Ewing on offense, inexplicably Monroe on defense.

You have the pick going to the wrong team. Bazemore's contract is awful.

I don't think they would want another Bucks overpaid center but if you turn that into Snell/Henson/17 for Bazemore/30 or 33, I'd sure be interested.
Draft Sogaba Konate at 33
PG: Bledsoe, Delly, Jennings
SG: Middleton, Bazemore, Brogdon, Sterling (in some order)
SF: Parker, Shabazz
PF: Giannis, DJ
C: Konate, Thon, Zeller (in some order)
I think if you do that trade you are probably moving one of Bledsoe (Brogdon goes back to point), Middleton or Parker.

Moving back 13 spots in the draft just to consolidate two bad contracts into one terrible contract? Yeah, I'm not a fan at all.

And you are getting a useful player for two not very useful players.

Re: 2018 NBA Draft Thread
Not nearly as awful as the contract you'd be paying twice as much as what you're paying Snell. I mean, did you guys just forget how trash Bazemore was the previous season and how inconsistent a player he's always been from year-to-year? This opens up like, $2 mil in cap room for the next two years, and you're paying ATL a 1st round pick for the pleasure of doing it. Hell to the no.

The two bigs I really like that may be available when the Bucks pick:
Robert Williams
Mitchell Robinson

.
give me Snell with a new coaching staff that is competent .
no reason a good coach can't scheme some opportunities for him to roll around picks and screen for some good looks.

when is the last time you saw Snell run off a screen and shoot? he is a catch and shoot player.

Re: 2018 NBA Draft Thread
Just took a peek at the ESPN mock and they are predicting that teams who currently have bigs that could help the Bucks will draft a PF/C. That could open up some possibilities to snatch a guy like Dedmon or (my preference) Alex Len.
