They needed a LG. Now Collins can really focus on onl having to play LT. The OL is set for a long time now and they are really going to run the crap out of the ball.

I wasn’t really happy with the pick. They needed to draft the position I just don’t really care for the player. I don’t like the neck issue and I don’t like that he really only played 1 full year after only playing 8 man football in high school. I also don’t care for players that end the college season as a projected 3rd rounder (based on his actual play) but then end up 1st rounders after the Combine. It just means he’s really good at working out. We need guys that can really play.

With that said, I felt the same way about Travis Fredrick. Vander Esch is a Will McClay pick according to Stephen and Jerry so I’ll trust that he knows way more than I do. If he busts though he’s definitely going to hear about it from the fans.
