Just like the NBA fines players for arguing or getting technical fouls, I think the NBA should also fine referees who make incorrect calls in the last two minutes of games. They should analyze the L2M reports the next day, and fine the ref(s) that made a mistake.

Fair is fair. You fine players, you should be able to fine refs.
Truth is on the side of the oppressed.

Can't blame Melo, he was trash all season. As far as I can tell everyone was consistent.

The true blame goes to the coaches to not realise that Westbrook is your first option, adams is your second option, PG is your third option and melo.is a bench player.

Look at his feet it was not natural to land like that unless he was trying to draw a contact from Gobert. Looks pretty good call there.

I have always hated when players look for the foul instead of trying to actually score, but that is a foul all day in the NBA.

Even if it’s technically not supposed to be a foul call because the offensive player is leaning...come on, they CONSISTENTLY call that a foul. Just because it’s at the end of the game, a foul is still a foul. And like I said, all players have said the same thing about their issues with refs...it’s when things are applied inconsistently. If the refs were consistent with that did or did not call, then almost nobody would have a problem. But when you’re consistently calling that a foul, and then just because there’s only like 20 seconds left, it’s all of a sudden not a foul...that’s a huge problem.

So happy they didn't call it. Hopefully players will think twice about jumping sideways into players trying to get a foul - it is ridiculous and it needs to stop

I agree but the players won't stop until the refs stop calling it.

It's up to the refs to enforce it but they won't

That should have been a foul ..

The local OKC channel has a behind the backboard replay. I wanna see that again to see Gobert's vector, and see if George leaned in or not. From the angle above though, def a foul.

Ingles has gone from the Reddick stopper to the PG stopper.

I'm glad they didn't call the foul. The game was so horrible in the last 3-4 minutes. People saying this game was the best of these playoffs are nuts. The level of basketball on display was D league level.

When all you fans whine about players like Lebron who sell the contact, this is why.
Sometimes you have to force the ref to make the call.

That same guy was talking trash as he walked to halftime. #context Why does RW have issues for standing up for himself?

I didn’t know that the same guy has been harassing him since halftime. If that’s the case then I can understand why he acted like that. Further, I am now excluding myself from this discussion.

I think is a foul but i have my doubts on who initiate the contact, a different angle would be nice.

James Harden will average 7ppg next series off less egregious three point fouls.

People who watch box scores gonna give Russ crap for this game but dude gave his all. PG and Melo straight trash. STRAIGHT TRASH. Could you guys imagine if LeBron or Durant had more turnovers than field goals in an elimination game? Trash....and PG is my favorite player in the league. Unbelievably annoyed by him this season though. Russ got tired at the end and shot selection is always an issue with this team but dude gave it his all.

Officiating awful as usual. Absolutely awful.

Well it wouldn't decide the series since OKC was down three

Welp :(
Congrats on the series Jazz fans. We were outclassed for the whole series sans a few heroic performances. Donovan Mitchell was a hell of a find. Will be a travesty if he isn't recognized with ROY or Co-ROY.

The nightmare season is finally over, and I can watch the rest of the playoffs in peace.
