Everyone is going to cry about that last call. I'm a Jazz fan...I'll admin it was a bad no-call.... no question about it. But there were a LOT of horrendous calls down the stretch in the 4th quarter. How many of those calls might have made it a different game? Maybe Jazz would have been up by 7pts instead of 3 by that time. Tough to say. If we're going to pick just that one single bad foul we should pick every single bad foul.

That was a bogus no-call, but the refs were pretty heinous in general through the entire series. We saw fouls where players were 2ft away from players. It is what it is. It's always been frustrating, and it's going to continue to be a frustrating aspect of NBA basketball.

Yeah I don’t know what he was saying but putting your phone in his face on top of that isn’t cool. Players aren’t robots, they hear everything

That same guy was talking trash as he walked to halftime. #context Why does RW have issues for standing up for himself?

I didn’t know that the same guy has been harassing him since halftime. If that’s the case then I can understand why he acted like that. Further, I am now excluding myself from this discussion.

Haha, no worries. But yeah it was an ongoing thing.

Should Westbrook have just ignored him though? Probably. But easier said than done I suppose.

No ****... George initiated the contact by stepping into Gobert.

Gets called a foul 10 times out of 10 otherwise. You can bet if it was durant or harden it would have been a flagrant 1

I disagree. Gobert made a poor defensive play and would have hit PG regardless and a very obvious foul should have been called.

Lol. There was barely any contact even though PG jumped sideways into him.

Westbrook isn't the reason you were in the game. He's the reason you lost. Elimination game and the stupid shots he was taking in the 4th is just ridiculous. Tremendous athlete but if they had an IQ test to make it in the NBA he'd be out.

This has to be the worst NBA conspiracy I've read on this forum.

The refs are just bad plain and simple. Nothing more, nothing less.

They don't fine players for making mistakes, do you suggest players should be fined for missing shots like refs should be fined for missing calls?

And yeah, it doesn't look like a foul to me.

A player makes a mistake and gets fined when he fights, or when he argues too much, or when he does something stupid.

Not when he misses a shot.

So the equivalent of that for referees is when they miss calls just in the last 2 minutes of the game. You know, when such mistakes cost teams their season, in crunch time.
Truth is on the side of the oppressed.

Idk man. The behind the basket angle will tell us a lot if we can find it.

PG definitely initiated the contact without a doubt but that is consistently called every game.

I only watched the final quarter but I'm 99% sure there were similar calls made in this game.

I hate when they call it but if they're going to call it then they need to do it every time

Here's the angle. I think it's probably a foul in normal circumstances.
In '03-'04, Jerry Sloan coached the ESPN predicted "worst team of all time" to 42-40.

From this angle it doesn’t look like foul, but I’m 100% if it was James Harden this would have been 3 free throws..

And I'm 100% that people would have complained about Harden making a joke out of the game by trying to draw fouls instead of making shots.

Refs def missed the call but this has gotta be the dumbest thing i've read so far. Which league wouldnt want a game 7? Ratings would be off the roof. And not to mention, even if it was rigged, NBA would much rather want OKC to make it through for ratings
