only problem though is Phil committed the original sin of giving him a NTC which was a monumental fuqup on Phil's part

He didn't give him anything, Melo's camp demanded he have a NTC. Dolan ordered Phil to bring back Melo at all cost because Melo is James Dolan's guy. Dolan is the guy who demanded that the Knicks trade for Melo so no way was he going to allow him to just walk for nothing in free agency.

You can't prove any of that, but even if you're 100% correct that still makes Phil either a sucker or a slut for money or both.

Why, because he decided to take on the challenge of trying to build around Carmelo? I'm sure if Dolan came to you with a 12 million dollar check and presented you with the challenge you would say no thanks I'm not a sucker

Read again, I said either or both. We already know Phil whored his hardware for a big payday without wanting to put in the work and Dolan was the sucker who paid him.

Phil won rings and Phil made money, get over it. I see Shaq wearing his hardware right now on TNT, I guess he's whoring it for a big payday from TNT

Al Horford has really earned that paycheck.

Horford and KP frontcourt would have been dope.

For some reason this 10-point lead by the Celtics seems insurmountable for the Bucks.

We could always draft Wendell Carter, who projects to be a similar player.

We should have taken Mitchell 1st. Period.
Try to get Frank later. With the way he just played this year his stock would have dropped anyway.

As a matter of fact, we need to go find some rookies that played like crap and see if we can get them for cheap.

Mavs would have taken Frank, he'd have looked like rookie MCW with triple doubles. Mitchell would not have had rubio to play off of and been behind Lee.

I don’t care.

There’s really no way around it. We lack talent all over this roster. You take the best player. Period.
Phil got cute with the pick.

Your hindsight is so good, but have a heckuva eye doctor. The fact that Phils scouting team had Mitchell so high is a GOOD THING. That means that our scouts are good. If our scouts are good and knew Mitchell would be good, but think Frank is going to be better, I recommend that you wait until Frank hits 21 before you complain...

Marcus Morris has been a lowkey great addition to the Celtics. Giving up Avery Bradley for Marcus Morris didn't look like a win trade for the Cs, just looked like a salary dump so they wouldn't have to pay Avery. But Morris has been huge for them in the playoffs.

Dotson's good as well so our scouting department knows what they are doing.

Frank is okay but we would be lucky if he will be contributing half to a team's overall success as Mitchell is doing at the moment.

What would suck big time is that if the triangle offense was the determining factor in choosing Frank over Mitchell.
