This series scares the crap out of me. 76ers fans saying us in 5 etc. is insane. If we do win this series it’s going 6 or 7. Celtics strength and athleticism at the G and wing could give us issues on the offensive side. We are at our best when we are running and moving the ball. We saw the Celtics tonight shut down the Bucks transition game. We’ll see. Interestingn series.

Thank god. If the Celtics lose the series, you have to add to your signature "SuperDario was right about the Sixers winning, and I was wrong." If the Celtics win then I'll add "ajones9219 was right about the Celtics winning, and I was wrong".

Lol certain teams just have another teams number every year . Doesn't mean they are a superior team. For instance Boston went 3-1 against the sixers and yet you argue they are the better team.
I would argue that we are a much better team now, but I don't have to. We're 1-0 against the Celtics without Kyrie, and that's the situation we're evaluating. We also didn't have Embiid for one of our losses.
I'd argue that outside Kyrie the Celtics are a much better team as well . We'll see how it plays out. Best of luck

Let’s be real, the Celtics would probably sweep this Sixers team with Hayward and Kyrie.

Hopefully for your sake embiid can shoot more than 35% against horford this time

Re: ECSF: P1 | (3) Philadelphia 76ers vs Winner of BOS/MIL | TIED 0-0
I’m predicting sixers in 6.
I respect Celtics defense a lot, as I do respect Brad Stevens. Great coach. At the same time I love Brett Brown. It will be very interesting to see coaching game.
I also think Tatum and Brown are very solid, but not on the same talent level as Simmons and Embiid.
I’m not sure that Celtics offense will be enough to win 4 games against the Sixers.
It’s a shame that Irving and Hayward are injured. With those two I don’t think sixers would be able to win.
I expect some hot takes from both fan bases, and some huge overreactions. Sometimes even I can’t read Sixers forum lol.

Coaching advantage![]()
We saw how elite his coaching was in last year's playoffs.
Not sure what you're even referring to, but yeah coaching advantage. Stevens is the best coach in this series by a comfortable margin.

The Celtics are scrappy but the Sixers in five or six. The Sixers are better then Milwaukee at every aspect of basketball some like shooting the 3, passing the ball (was painful watching the iso heavy offense of Bucks I mean really having guys like Malcolm Brogdon go 1v1 against a set D) and defense they are on another planet then the Bucks and the Bucks were able to push the Cs to the limit. Al Horford wont have any 15 for 20 games with most of the shots coming in the paint against the Sixers gigantic front court. "Big Al" might have have an inch on Robert Covington the Sixers starting small forward. The Celtics main hope is Marcus Smart thugging up Belinelli and Redick. If the referees let him get away with murder as they are wont to do the Celtics might have a chance.

Re: ECSF: P1 | (3) Philadelphia 76ers vs Winner of BOS/MIL | TIED 0-0
Cross post from the Series thread on the Sixers board:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
They will need Terry Rozier to go absolutely nuts to beat us. They may try to exploit a matchup with him vs. Redick.
I don't see the rest of their lineup having exploitable matchups to the point where they can put up a lot of points on us.
Rozier vs. Redick
Brown vs. Covington
Tatum vs. Simmons
Ojeleye vs. Saric
Horford vs. Embiid
Here's a simple way to look at the matchups above. Our player has a higher RPM than their player at every position except Rozier has the advantage vs. Redick. We have a significant advantage in every other matchup.
We also have the superior bench (TJ, Belinelli, Ilyasova, and Johnson vs. Larkin, Smart, Morris, and Baynes).

With the upgrade on the bench, Sixers aren't blowing leads like they did in London. Sixers could win in Six even with Kyrie, and maybe Hayward, too.

The Heat probably beat the Celtics if they matched up.
And if anyone is young its the Celtics lol. Your two best offensive players are 21 and 19.
This is just patently false
No its not lol.
In fact, Bill Simmons on his podcast has been arguing that they're both top 15 players.
