They don't really have anyone to guard him.

You didn't watch any of the games. Horford is not a good match up for Embiid

If you think games in October are applicable to this series, you're delusional.

Two entirely different teams.

Simmons / Reddick / Covington / Saric / Embiid = the best lineup in the NBA by net rating. And unlike the beginning of the season when we played the Celtics, now we have a bench.

LOL thats why I brought him up.

He said Embiid and Simmons were both top 15 players, despite being a Celtics fans.

My point isnt that he's a Celtics fan. My point is that he is a poor basketball mind

Coming from someone who thinks a laughably garbage defender in Towns and a severely offensively limited Gobert, along with Aldridge, all being better than Embiid. LMAO.

6er fans can start planning for Raptors/Cavs in the next series actually. This series will be like a rest an the Four Seasons.

This is why I will never truly take this place seriously.

Well I will predict Marcus Smart will make a gutsy unexpectedly brilliant defense play leading to an uncontested layup in the last 60 seconds of the first game, effectively cutting the Sixers lead to under 30.

Coaching advantage

We saw how elite his coaching was in last year's playoffs.

Not sure what you're even referring to, but yeah coaching advantage. Stevens is the best coach in this series by a comfortable margin.

How many championships does he have? I forget? And what’s his playoff record again?

That was the best starting line-up. The best 5 man line-up in the league was actually Simmons/Belinelli/Covington/Saric/Amir in 104 minutes played.

That said...this is a real rivalry. Just like the Celtics vs the Lakers. This one has meaning. This is not a fake Toronto rivalry. It's a damn shame the Celtics wont have Irving or Gordon

You're going to wish the Celtics decided to Trust The Process instead of prematurely trying to win now on the backs of inferior talent, and thereby capping the upside of their rebuild. You'll see the consequences of that over the next decade, starting with this series.

Right, because a series not featuring either of the Celtics stars will be indicative of the teams prospects going forward.

Man, you can tell Sixers fans haven't had a good team in a while reading this thread. Some of y'all really believe this team is a contender lol. The C's will push the Sixers to the limit without their stars, then we'll wipe the floor with you when both teams are healthy next year.
